THE TRIBE: BROKEN FUTURE
An adaption of series 6
Chapter One
The Eagle soared through the sky and beyond the loch, passing by many mountains. The sea gleamed under her. Jerking and twisting. Twisting and turning. Turning and Falling. Before the young Eagle knew it, she was plummeting to her death 50 miles per hour. She awoke. Amber rose suddenly. "Jay! Jay, where are you?" she called.
"I'm right here", he replied.
"Where's Bray?", She asked, her heart pounding.
"I put him down for a nap. Amber you've got to let go. The Chosen don't want him, remember? It's poor little Brady that's their jackpot" said Jay, holding Amber and stroking her head.
The thought of her darling son Bray being taken from her was too much to bare.
"I had the dream again. I was falling and I couldn't stop. Jay, I think something awful is about to happen".
"Nothing bad is going to happen to you or anyone in this tribe, you hear? I won't allow it".
"You might not be able to stop it", Amber told him. " I just can't believe they're back. I thought finally after defeating Mega and loosing the city that maybe our luck was about to change. I didn't think that the whole 'Power and Chaos' nightmare would start all over again. Zoot. He haunted us when he was alive and he's still doing it to this day. It's like we're being punished or something. Whatever we do we can't escape him", cried Amber.
"Amber you need to calm down. Trudy is in a state as it is. She mustn't hear you speaking like this" said Jay. He was serious. His eyes told Amber that there was something inside his heart for Trudy.
"You still love her don't you? Don't you?", she asked him. Like Jay, she was serious.
"I can't believe you're bringing this up again. I told you. Nothing is going on with me and Trudy. It's all in your head".
"You know, I think Ebony was right about you. In fact, I think she had you pretty much sussed. You're always lusting after someone else. First me when you were with her, then Trudy, then me again and now back to Ebony! What is it with you, Jay? Do you get some kick out of playing with our heartstrings?". Amber bulldozes Jay away from her.
"I'm not taking this. You know what, I'm starting to thin Bray had a lucky escape. You and Ebony, your no different from each other. I can't keep going on like this".
"What are you saying, Jay?"
"We're over. From now on I'll do what I want to do exactly when I want to and I'll look out for myself."
Jay storms out of the tent as Amber looks on in amazement. She certainly did not intend for that to happen. Just as she erupts into tears, there is a massive thud from outside.
"Jay?" Amber, warily gets up to investigate what has just happened. As she exits she is confronted by what she feared most. Her eyes could not believe it. The impact of two truths was too much for her to intake. How could Bray, her former lover and father to her son of the same name be alive and how could he standing in front of her as part of the Chosen?
