"Shit, Shit, Shit!" Screamed the brunette CSI when the bullets stopped flying over her head.

"Shit, Shit!" Screamed the fallen officer, "It hurts!"

"Shit!" Hollered Gil Grissom at the policeman, as he applied pressure on the gunshot wound to stop the bleeding.

Silence.

Sara pulled out her cell phone and spoke quickly. "Dispatch: this is CSI S. Grissom. We have a 434 with a 422, repeat a 422, I need EMS immediately."

When the bullets from the automatic weapon began to fire again, Gil covered the officer and Sara curled herself into a ball.

Silence.

Then sirens.

Then relief.
