"Look what you did!" she yelled, gesturing at the tight blue tank top that barely covered her belly button anymore.
"You're blaming me?"
"You kissed me," she accused.
"You kissed me back," he replied with a small smile.
She smiled smugly as her husband pressed a gentle kiss to her temple, his hands resting on the curve of her burgeoning belly.
ii.
"Hungry?" he asked with a surprised laugh at his wife's lack of table manners.
"Well, he is a growing boy!"
"A boy?"
She nodded, "That's what Katara says, and she's never been wrong," she mumbled around a mouthful of green noodles.
Mako sat heavily in the chair beside his pregnant wife, his face taking on a wistful expression. "A boy…" he whispered happily and Korra hid her smile behind another bite of her lunch.
Suddenly Mako jumped in his seat, sitting to full attention, "Did she say what element he would bend?"
Korra grinned mischievously, "Now that is a secret, City boy."
"I'll work it out of you, you know this, Avatar," He growled.
She shrugged a shoulder, leaning back in her chair and letting out a small belch, "You might," she conceded, "But first, rub my feet," she commanded, placing her feet into his open lap.
She couldn't help but smirk at the glowering look he sent her way.
