His heart of swords
After the disastrous War of the Five Kings, comes the reign of the Dragon Queen, Daenerys Targaryen, her reign was so glorious and prosperous that most Maesters of that time and era referred it as the golden age of Westeros, but like all her predecessors she has one unpopular decision that only books of prominent scholars had indulged in writing. It was the banning of melancholy songs and tragic plays as well as stories that connects the events of the War of the Five Kings and yet there is one story that made the great Queen change her mind.
It was the Okami Monogatari or in the common tongue it was well known as the Young Wolf and his Heart of Swords, when she had heard of the play she had her guards seize the mummers who were performing it but was intrigued as to why it was called such and had them perform to her court, the story tells of the tragic love between the once King in the North, Robb Stark, and a foreign warrioress, Uesugi Kenshin, tragedy and romance, it was a common theme of the current era as most people had said and one of the main reasons as to why Daenerys had made a law banning such.
Daenerys have heard about the King in the North and his brave 'companion', Uesugi Kenshin wasn't a name anywhere from Westeros most maesters suggests that her name was of Yi Ti origin and decided to conclude on such fact but Daenerys knew that whoever Kenshin is she must be somewhere far from Essos, as the play progresses, the Queen had never thought that she was enthralled and even more so touched by the story of King Robb Stark and Lady Kenshin, nobles in her courts had then claimed that tears flowed from the Dragon queen's eyes as the play ended with the death of Robb Stark and his loyal 'companion' or as the story suggests 'lover'.
Daenerys had heard about the event, it was said that as the Freys were closing in on the two, Robb Stark decided to end their lives, so as to prevent a more painful way of dying, so embracing each other Robb used the strange long sword of his 'companion' and drove it to both their hearts, ending their lives simultaneously, when the Freys had found them their bodies were said to be trapped in a tight embrace as if death will never separate them.
Thus the ban on melancholy songs and plays was lifted but before the mummers were given a sum of gold and sent away, Daenerys had asked who was the writer of such story, to which the mummers' told her that a poetess who calls herself a lady in waiting of the late Uesugi Kenshin had given them the book and manuscripts of the play and told them to never asked for her name (much to Daenerys' dismay and disappointment) but whatever is in the play that made the queen changed her mind, the Okami Monogatari was hailed as a very famous tale that accurately tells the events that happened during the War of the Five Kings.
But if one were to visit the Stark crypts in Winterfell it was said that where the Young Wolf was buried there also lies another body and it was said to be the body of his loyal and faithful 'companion', Uesugi Kenshin.
Author's: This is just an idea that struck me when I was competing in a quizbee for an event at the Uni, well yes its a Rance and GOT crossover, with the pairing of Uesugi Kenshin x Robb Stark, I know it sucks but then again PM me if you want to take the story, you're welcome to do so.
Criticisms and praises are appreciated
