Oshawott Adventures
Part One
I rubbed my eyes as I awoke that morning. I yawned and looked at my watch. "Nine thirty? AHHHHH!" I screamed. I jerked out of bed, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and threw on some clothes.
Running down the stairs, I asked my dad, "Dad! Why didn't you wake me up?"
He was reading the newspaper, drinking coffee. "Well, you're not a baby girl anymore, sweetheart."
"Well yeah, but dad!"
"Yes, Kisu?"
I groaned. "I could be in detention!"
He laughed. "So be it."
I walked up to him. I have had enough. "Dad! Are you even listening to yourself? This is why mom left you! UGH!"
The man slammed the newspaper against the table and stood up. "Kisu! I specifically toldyou not to talk about that!"
I screamed angrily with tears coming out of my eyes. "And I specifically told you to never call me that! I hate you! Don't ever talk to me again!"
"Young lady! I know you don't mean th-"
"Well I DO!" I yelled.
"No, you don't. Young lady, do NOT slam that door on me! Do you hear me? DO NO-"
I ran out the door, interrupting him.
I don't even like school, I thought, why did I make a big fuss? Well, who cares. I'm not talking to him, so might as well run away from home. By the time I got to school, it was two forty-five already! Great, I thought, school has just ended. I walked into the forest next to the school. Maybe, just maybe; I'll make a log cabin tonight.
- *~Timeskip~* -
I mumbled words under my breath while walking into the forest. Somehow, there was a lake in the middle of the forest. "This is a perfect place! I can just..." I didn't even bother to finish my sentence because I knew that I, Kisuri Haru Miniri had a lot of work to do.
I started by sketching out the 'house' I was going to make. After a lot of scribbling and erasing, I came up with two possible houses I could make.
Number one has four large wooden boards for the walls. I'm going to make a nice roof by making a wooden arch and placing it on top of the walls. Than, I will lay mud, grass, and straw over the roof. I will drill screws into the fine wood to be sure that everything stays in place. I will cut a hole in the front of the 'house' to make a door. Of course I will need to decorate it right? Well, yeah! To top it all off, I will paint the 'house' with blue Oran Berries
(If you don't know what they are, go here: ".net/wiki/Oran_Berry"). What a waste of berries! Oh well.
House number two is nice and simple. To start it off, I will take two large logs and stack them across from each other. Then, I will get a blanket and lay it on top of the two logs. Lastly, I will drill the blanket on the logs with four drills on each log.
Well, I could either use one OR two...
What do you choose, readers?
