Hey guys! I don't know why I decided to make this fic. But I hope it turns out good. So thanks to Ciel the Hedgehog for letting me incorporate her OCs.
Disclaimer: I don't own Sonic and co, those belong to Sega. I don't own Ciel and Gemini, those are Ciel the Hedgehog's.
Claimer: I do, however, own Saphire. If you'd like to use her just ask.
CH 1: Casting calls
"This looks cool," Knuckles said. He, Tails, and Sonic were standing on the side of a busy street reading a flyer for play auditions. It read:
Have you ever wanted to act in a play?
Well here's your chance!!
Come try out for a part in See, Here's the Story
a mystery about a group of people solving a murder.
No previous experience required.
"I agree. We should try out!" Tails suggested.
"Are you joking?" Sonic remarked. "I don't do plays." He crossed his arms over his chest.
"Well think about it, Sonic," Knuckles coaxed. "A play means hot actresses swarming to try out." Deep down, Knuckles only had one reason for auditioning. He was hoping a certain someone would be there.
"I guess I could… for the ladies," Sonic muttered.
They grabbed the flyer and raced home.
In the apartment building across the street…
"Oh cool, Gemini! A play!" An excited black and gold striped hedgehog exclaimed. He was holding the same flyer Knuckles had seen earlier.
"Hmm," Gemini, a black and blue striped hedgehog, replied. "At least it's a murder mystery, not some lame romance."
"Count me out," a voice called from the bathroom. "I don't want to be anywhere near that blue hedgehog, and I know he'll be there."
"Oh come on, Shadow. If you go, it'll ruin Sonic's fun," Gemini said calmly.
There was silence in the bathroom. Obviously Shadow was considering it. He weighed the options. Do the play and make Sonic unhappy, or don't do it and watch Sonic flaunt himself across a stage… Shadow pondered. Then Shadow poked his head out of the doorway.
"I'll do it," he grinned.
The sun was setting and a lone figure stood on a hill outside the city, silently watching it. It sighed and the strong wind blew a yellow paper into her shin. She bent to pick it up. It was the audition poster.
A play, she thought. Maybe I could just go… watch the tryouts. I'll keep myself hidden. I guess that's ok.
She stuck the flyer into her back pocket and sped off toward the busy city.
So how was it? Any suggestions? Please review. The next chappie will be up sometime this week because we have school off for Turkey Day.
