You need a storm to get a Rainbow.....

My body started to shiver as the cold gusts of wind made contact with it. My shelter was nothing more than a stone temple, its doors had long since been destroyed. I had nothing to warm me, but a thin silk blanket which I had taken from the Palace before I had fled. The fire that I had made earlier had now died down to only embers among burnt wood. I knew I had to get up soon and start another fire, or I would surely freeze.

As I slipped off the blanket I felt raindrops collide with my pale skin, which only made me colder. 'Looks like I can't build a fire now.' Suddenly the rain started pouring down and I frantically looked around for something to shield me from the rain, which was now seeping through the thin fabric of my robes. I only stopped my search when I saw a flash of white and then heard a big "Boom!!!!". My eyes widened for a second, but I quickly calmed my nerves. 'I remember how much Zuko used to be afraid of lightning.... I wonder where he is right now.... Hopefully he's safe....' A thousand memories of my son quickly flashed before my eyes. My eyes teared up at the thought of the last time I had ever seen him. "My son....," I quietly whispered to the sky as the rain fell and the thunder sounded. "Please my son, remember that I will always love you. Please forgive me for leaving. I only did what had to be done...."

My voice cracked as the tears threatened to spill over. "Someday my Son, we will meet again. When the time comes.....," I whispered as the cold tears ran down my cheeks. "Never forget who you are....," I sobbed, as I layed my head onto the cold stone floor once more. I no longer felt the cold surrounding me. I only felt the horrible aching in my heart. 'I will see my son again, if it's the last thing I do....' I let one single tear slip down my cheek as I slowly faded in to the darkness....

When I awoke it was morning, the Storm had finally past. The sun shone brightly in the baby blue sky and I savored the warm feeling of the air as I felt a faint breeze on my face. Turning my head towards the left I saw something that made me smile. There in the left corner of the sky was a Rainbow. It was quickly fading away, but it was still very pretty. The Rainbow gave me Hope. 'I will find my Son.....,' I thought, as I hurriedly started to pack up the few things that I owned. One way or the other, I was confident that I would see my Son again.

Sometimes you need a simple thing to give you comfort and hope. In order to get that thing, you must first stick through the storm. Only then will you see the rainbow....

A/N: I don't really know where I got the inspiration to write this, but I hope you liked it!!!! I don't think I really captured Ursa's Character well, but I'll leave that up to you. It's funny actually, I'm most creative between the hours of 4 A.M. - 6 A.M. , and yet at the same time I'm so tired between those hours that I can barely think. It's a miracle that I could even write this!!!!

Anyways, Read and Review (if you Want)!!!!
