A flash of movement caught Jack's eye. Get down! As soon as he called out, staff blasts filled the air.
Crap! The gate had just shut down behind them when the attack had started.
Jack sensed something approach him causing him to turn quickly on his heels to avoid a deadly knife wound to the neck. It caught his right arm instead.
Jack grunted in satisfaction as the bones of the Jaffa's nose crunched beneath the power of his blow.
He stumbled as a staff blast hit his leg. Then, the end of a staff weapon crashed into the side of his head.
Crap. He muttered as he slid to the ground unconscious.
