Can you hear that?
That tempting call in the distance?
The sweet, yet bitter tune,
Seducing even the strongest of men,
Soft in calling, harsh in responce.
And I fell victim to it.
I kept fighting, but I lost.
I tell it to go away,
But it doesnt listen.
I shout, 'Leave me alone!'
Yet it stays.
But wait, whats this?
That warm, soothing melody.
A birds uplifting song,
With a touch of a mothers lulaby.
It pulls me out of the trap,
And heals me.
