A/N: It was finals week for me so unfortunately I couldn't do much but I decided I would do this. I have not written anything in a long time so I'm a bit rusty so forgive me.

In the beginning, he could not fathom why he felt as if his insides were exploding with fireworks whenever he saw her.
He presumes that it started when he felt a rage like no other directed towards her cousin during the Chunin Exams. When this strange girl fell, he flew off the railings. Literally.
His insides were burning, as if they were ignited by sparks. As he looks back to this scene, he recalls that even then he felt the fireworks in him when he saw her as she fell. Something was burning deep within him and he could not comprehend why.
The next time he felt something akin to what he felt that day, was when he was able to reveal his true and doubtful self to her, right before his impending doom in a duel against her cousin. As he spoke to her, he felt as if he was being stripped bare, only for her eyes to see. For heaven's sake, he barely knew the girl and yet he was revealing his true feelings to her!
This time, he did not feel as if the flickers licking at him were volatile but he felt as if they were comforting, the little fireworks inspiring him to defeat the fate-loving bastard.
Once he had won he could not help but think. 'Where is Hinata? Did she see me?'
Naruto Uzumaki felt as if he would burst with all of the sparks that he felt at that moment.
It continued to happen more and more over the years, either she was able to ignite the fireworks within him, filling him with rage, or console him as they worked around his body and quailed his rage.
He did not grasp as to why she had this power over him because he did not understand love at the time.
Yes. He later found out it was love.
But who could blame him for not noticing? He was starved of love in his childhood so he did not know what love felt like. Nonetheless, he could now apprehend why no matter what the circumstance, whenever she was near, she always made him feel as if there were fireworks bursting inside of his body.
Ever since the day he realized it, he felt the fireworks surging through him more consistently, because she is always near him now.

But he glows even brighter when he hears the words, "I love you," tumble out of her mouth.
A/N: Hear me out please I'll try to keep it short. I always wondered when Naruto had started falling for Hinata since The Last was based on him realizing his love for her. But every naruhina moment reflects his feelings towards her. So I believe that his feelings may have started at the chunin exams because he has never been able to take off the façade and he did that with a girl he barely knew. I don't know when it became stronger but I know that something definitely started that day sooooo yeah that's why I did this. Maybe when I'm not lazy I'll revise this and add in the other moments and how he felt in each one…
