Titan Anew Chapter 1

"jade! Come eat breakfast!" yelled Jessica. See, she works here at the orpanage so she's always worried about us. Oh yeah, did I mention I'm 14 still in an orpanage? Well it's true. Anyways I better go get breakfast before she gets mad at me. "Hurry up and get your butt down here!'' To late.
So I ran downstairs for breakfast, when I got to the table Joey, Mike, Larry, and Josh were already there. Living with all these boys is such a drag. "Boys I need to talk to Jade alone can you go up to your rooms?'' Jessica asked them. Then they all started chanting "jade's in trouble!jade's in trouble!'' and ran up to their rooms. So I turned around and gave Mike my evil dragon face and then he shut his door. So I asked Jessica '' What did I do to get in trouble now?'' She then stood up and said camley ''You know how you have special powers?'' I nodded. "well, some people in Jump City, California want to adopt you.

"Who are they? what are they like?" I asked curiously.
"They're a team of super heros called the teen titans. They said they could use you on their team", Jessica answered plesently. "So basicly they just want me to kick but for them?" I asked sarcasticly. "No!" she yelled,
"Think about it, they'll take good care of you, they'll train
you... you'll have a home." It seems like she became upset when she said 'you'll have a home'.
"Yeah right like I haven't heard that one before," I answered. "Your so stubborn!" she scoffed, "Just give them a chance... for me?" She dose the worst sad face.
But it's so pitiful you'll feel soory some how. "Okay," I answered, " I, I , I'll do it.''

The Next Day:
" Jade hurry up!" Jessica called. So I brushed my hair, got my stuff and ran downstairs. When I got to the lobby Jessica and the four fart freaks where waiting. Then Mikey blurted out " So your joining a super hero team?" I nodded. ''Well that's not fair! Who are we going to pick on?" So I walked over to him and said, "I'm
going to call from California that's when you can annoy me." I said patting a 'kick me' sign on his back. Then Jessica and I started walking to the car I could hear the others snickering at Mikey. Then I closed I door caught up to Jessica. "Hey!'' I heard Mikey yell. Then the others started busting out laughing. Took'em long enough. Then I jumped in the care and me and Jessica took off towards the airport.
We drove into the parking lot and she parked near the gate. "Jade,'' she started.
"Yes?'' I answered.
''I'm... really going to miss you"
I just kept staring.
"I guess I could say your like the little sister I never had.''
Then tears started rolling down her cheeks.
" Hey," I said.
" Yes?" she answered with a whine.
"Thanks."
Then we started walking to the plane that was headed for California. Once we got there we hugged each other
and promised to stay in touch with each other. Then before she walked away I turned and said " Hey, I have to tell you something before I go." She turned and said
" Yes?" I smiled and said " You have the most pitiful sad
face." She laughed and we waved bye to each other.
