Let's see if I actually finish this, seeing as I'm in school at the moment.
The Lost Woods were always serene, quiet except for the merry tune that danced through the darkened path.
Link sighed as he leaned against a tree stump.
"We need to go to the castle." Navi trilled for what felt like the hundreth time, batting her wings harshly.
The hero wondered how much hell ther would be to pay of he swatted her like a fly. It was probably too much trouble anyway.
"Go away for a little while. I need to sleep, I am human after all." The blonde muttered, letting his emerald blue eyes slide closed. He heard the fairy give a disgruntled 'humph' before the sound of her wings were gone.
"Nobody else seems to believe that." The voice was familiar, yet alien at the same time. The sound should have been identifiable, yet it remained a mystery to the boy. "Your their hero. A hero shouldn't have to eat or sleep. Heroes don't break down, don't bleed, or cry, or hurt. It's hard to a hero, isn't it?" It almost sounded like the wind whistling through the many trees, and Link would have dismissed it as such had it not been for the clear, defined words.
It was hard to be a hero.
I think it was Ganondorf talking, for some reason.
This was my first Zelda fanfic, so let me have areview and tell me how you like it (or how you hate it. I like flames too)
