Disclaimer-don't own teen titans

She walked the dark empty hall alone, always alone, no matter what any said, she was indeed alone in this world. Separated from her friends, they could laugh, they could cry, they could love, but not her. She was forced into a life that could hardly be lived, how can life be worth anything when you can't express what life has to offer. She fond herself looking over the city, they needed her, a thought told her. Yes, they may need her, but do they understand her, do they care, they may, but only for protection. They were dead to her, for she was dead to them, that's where all roads lead eventually, right? She don't know how it got there but she was now holding a long sharp knife. The moonlight glinted in the blade, how easy it would be, she moved it to her wrist, just one movement and it'll end. All her pain, will vanish, she won't be alone,

'you think you're alone but you're not,' it was his voice, speaking in her mind, he was wrong, you are alone. Yes, but how easy it would be, she put pressure on her wrist, then she wouldn't be alone.

'How can you do this,' it was him, she always thought of him as a big brother 'not just to yourself, but to us.'

'You're apart of this team,' the leader "without you are team is incomplete, we can't do it with out you.'

No they could, how easy it would be, then no more city to look after, no more trouble to fight, no more evil to face. She put more pressure on her wrist, it was close to puncturing her skin, but another voice came.

'Please friend,' her, the only one who was the closest to knowing her 'if you go how will I go on alone.'

Could she leave her, how easy would to be, to just leave all the responsibility behind, all the worry all the distress.

'If you leave, I will be very said,' him again, she didn't know why, but she listed to him, 'you say it would be easy. To leave this world, to except it now, how easy it would be to leave everything behind. But it also leaves everyone behind, all people that you've touched, all those you could. How easy is it to leave your friends to cry and grieve, alone, how easy it would be, destroy yourself and all your friends.'

His word struck her heard, he was right, slowly she removed the knife, it glinted in the moonlight, she put it away. Then she turned back to the hall, back to her friends, back to life, she might be alone, but she will never do that to her friends. How easy it would be, just to die, but how much better it is not to.
