Disclaimer: I do not own the wonderfulness that is Legal Drug, CLAMP does though.

I snored contently in my bed, dreaming of the wonderful land this a dream. Candy and swirls danced around on a light purple background. I was daintily munching on a tea biscuit while I sat on a velvet red chair, the armrests being made of the highest quality gold and diamond, and kneeling at my feet was my servant.

"Sire, I have brought the cookies and milk you asked." He said, bowing like an uptight butler.

"Good! And finally! I was waiting for hours!" I said. Then I stuffed my face with the delightful heavenly morsels waiting patiently on the silver platter in front of me. Oh, life was good.

"WAKIE WAKIE!" Came the loud noise from beside me. He banged cymbals into my ears with a satanic grin.

"HEY! You! CUT IT OUT!" I yelled, watching him just smirk evilly.

"Finally got you to wake up. Also, it's your day to make breakfast." He said, then slunk out of the room. I just sighed and watched him leave, getting dressed quickly as soon as he did. Sometimes I just felt like strangling him, living with Rikuou could be so stressful! I know he saved me tons of times, but why must he bother me this way?

I then walked onto the cold linoleum floor of the kitchen, opening the fridge and taking a look inside. There was just enough eggs left for a meal, and a few vegetables that we didn't really care for either, I'd have to go grocery shopping later.

"I'm going to make eggs, as they're the only things there." I called out, setting up the stove and pan.

"Well duh, don't we always have something like that? No need to announce it, baka." He said, snickering at me as he peeked over his newspaper. I just turned clutched the pan and squeezed really hard, not realizing the burner was on.

"I've had it with you! All you do is annoy me and harass me and I never do anything back! I'm getting really tired of it!" I yelled at a wide-eyed Rikuou, who was only staring, at my hand. I looked at it, then quickly took it off the pan and flailed it around.

Rikuou rushed over, taking my wrist and quickly running it under the water while I began to cry softly, brushing at my tears with my other hand. Blister began forming on my burnt hand, as did some blood.

"Kazahaya, don't be so foolish next time," He said softly, not in the usually mean or teasing way, but in a caring tone. I just continued to sob quietly, resting my head on his chest. He comfortingly rubbed my head with his hand, I just nuzzled his chest. He planted soft kisses on my head.

Today just wasn't my day.
