I look at you smiling lovingly up at me and I think I understand the
reason I was put on the Earth. I see so much of your mother in your beautiful brown eyes.

When the time to let you go comes I know I will cry like a baby. You are my angel in the flesh. You are my whole reason to be a better person.
I remember the day you first decided to let your mother and I know you were okay. Your mum smiled up at me and placed my hand against the swell of her stomach and I felt you kick at me like you knew someone wanted to feel you. I had the urge to cry then and I have the urge to cry now as I see you playing with your toys.
I can't believe that you are here at last. My beautiful little daughter. My Serena.
