Alternate ending to CACW. Spider-Man switches sides and helps Cap break out the Rouge Avengers, while growing infatuated with Wanda Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch
The Raft Prison
Sam, Scott, and Clint are in holding cells while Wanda has been taken down a different corridor and put in a straight jacket. "Where are you taking her?!" Yelled Clint, neither of the guards responded. "What are you going to do to her?" Sam added. "None of your concern" replied a guard, "you'll be safe, by being far from her." "If you touch her..." Clint begins to state, "What? What are you going to do? You're not exactly in a postion to demand anything" the same guard replied smuggliy. "Take her to section 5D, and keep her restrained at all times."
Five hours later
"Please, stop! She's just a kid!" Yelled Sam as Wanda's cries can be heard from the corridor, God only knows what they're doing to her in there. "Psst, Sam" a voice is heard from around the corner. Confused, Sam replies, "who's there?" Just then, a man appears from around the corner, it was Cap. "It's me, Sam. Everything's going to be ok" says Cap in a hushed tone. "Cap! What're you doing here?" Asked Sam, anxiously. "We're here to get you guys out of here", "uh, we?" Scott chimes in. "Hey everyone!" Says a voice from the ceiling, yes the ceiling. "What the hell?" Says Clint, "Language, everyone meet Peter Parker, or as you might remember him as Spider-Man" Cap responds. "The kid from the airport?" Sam asks, "No hard feelings, Man." Peter jumps from the ceiling "I see now that Cap has the right idea all along" replied Spider-Man. "Ok, Peter you go find Wanda Maximoff while I get everybody out of here" said Cap. "Got it Cap!" Spider-Man said with a salute before.
The Corridor
Peter ran quickly down the hallway before he was distracted by a voice in his ear, it was Tony Stark, the billionaire that gave Spider-Man his new suit. "So you decided to run with Cap now huh?" Tony asked, "I'm sorry Mr Stark, but Captain America is right" Peter replied "Superheroes should be able to decide their own path with the government getting involved." Tony let out a chuckle, "I'm proud of you kid, you finally know what it means to be a hero, but do us both a favor will ya?" Tony said, "look out for the team for me, they're my only family left. "Will do Mr. Stark, oh and thank you for the suit" Peter said. "Keep it kid, you're going to need it now more than ever. Here's a little tip, I gave you you're own AI inside your suit. She's like Friday but for you." Tony said, "Thank you Mr. Stark, it's perfect thank you" Peter replied. "Happy trails kid." Tony replied before hanging up.
Wanda's holding cell
Wanda sat on the floor of her cell, her arms were bound together and she wasn't able to use her powers. Just then, there was a loud banging against her cell door. Frightened, Wanda backed up as far as she could into her cell. Another loud bang and the door came flying off, Wanda shrieked as the door flew across the room. She looked up and saw a man in a skin tight red and blue suit, a red mask with white lenses. The back of his suit held a red spider emblem on it while the front held a smaller black one. She recognized him as Spider-Man from the airport. "Are you Wanda Maximoff?" Asked Spider-Man, "who are you?" Wanda asked in a thick sokovian accent. "I'm Spider-Man, well when I'm wearing the mask I am" Spider-Man replied before removing his mask "but when I'm not, I'm Peter Parker. I'm here to get you out." The young witch looked confused, "why would you help me?" She asked, "you're on Tony's side." Peter shook his head, "Not anymore I'm not" he stepped closer to Wanda, "Cap was right." Wanda felt a sense of comfort and peace coming from Peter, she stepped closer to him. They smiled at each other and blushed, then Peter broke the silence, "Come on, let's get you out of here" Peter said before grabbing a pair of scissors with his web shooters. "How do you do that, and what is that stuff?" Wanda asked curiously, Peter cut Wanda free off her bonds before answering. "Web fluid I designed myself, I modified these things on my wrists to shoot them out." Wanda was impressed. Peter put his mask back on, much to the annoyance of Wanda, she found Spider-Man to be attractive. They ran out of the cell and made their way back to Cap and the rest of the Avengers.
The Quin Jet
"You really trust this kid Cap?" Sam asked in one of the seats in the Quin Jet, "Yes I do Sam." Cap replied "the fact that he's willing to help us, gives me no doubt he's here to help." "Here they come!" Yelled Clint as he saw Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch running out of the raft and towards the jet. "Ok let's get out of here!" Wanda yelled and Cap. Cap started the jet and took off from the raft, "Where are we going?" Peter asked, taking his mask off. "We need to make a quick stop, there's someone we need to pick up." Cap responded, "Who?" Asked Clint, "Nat"
