Lana's New Friend
I wrote this out of boredom and I'm hoping that some of u will like this. If you don't like it, well it's your opinion. Everyone's in entitled to their opinions. Oh and if something needs improving, just tell me straight out. I'm only 15 yrs old, so don't expect much. So enjoy the story.
It was a quite day as usual in Smallville high, the halls were packed and the sounds of hundreds of footsteps could be heard through out the rest of the school. Lana was in history class; it was very quite there, besides noise of students writing history notes. She writes a few notes, before she starts to dose off. 'I hope Ms. Thompson doesn't notice me dosing off.' She starts to close her eyes, but before she did that, the bell rang and she walked out to lunch. There was a new student Kayla Lee.
She wanted to welcome Kayla to Kansas. Chloe was busy with Torch business, so she didn't join Lana in welcoming the new student. Lana stood there until Kayla pushed Lana while trying to avoid a very angry girl. "Hi, you must be the new girl?" "Yeah, I'm Kayla." "Oh hi, I'm Lana. So can we talk later?" "Yeah Lana, we can talk after school."
Lana smiled at Kayla and than the bell rang. A few hours later, Lana met up with Kayla in the park. It was a cool day, the wind was light and the sun was out. Kayla looked younger than Lana, by a year. She had long black hair, blue eyes, and from the looks of it, a very strange taste in fashion. "Lana, most of my family dies young. I understand the feeling, the feeling that death is nearby. I don't worry that much, most of my family die young because they serviced in the military..." "But why did you come to Smallville?" "Why? Well that's simple, my mother took a job offer here and we had to move for her to get the job. I also had my reasons; I'm an outsider in my old school. Never fitted in, but that's in the past. My past doesn't concern me anymore and since I met you, I wish I had met someone like you in my old school. Lana, you're the only one who wanted to listen to me and I hope I could be a good friend, maybe even a confident." Lana looked at Kayla for a moment, Why not? She seems nice even, don't you remember Adam? Yes I remember him, but she has something that tells me she could be trusted. She doesn't seem very confident...but I'll be her friend.' They smiled at each other and continued on the path, talking and laughing as if they knew each other for more than a day. She didn't know what to think of Kayla, but what ever happens next, she'll have to wait and see.
