RANDOM ERAGON STORY BY ROXANNA FOR ARIANNA

I only regret one thing. She was a princess elf that was trained to care for the next dragon and its rider. She was the only elf that had black eyes to be born in centuries. Her hair was a light brown and her skin was pale as snow. Her name was Arianna. She was the only one who could care properly for a dragon except for a rider. It was my duty to take her to Eragon.

They got along well right away. Eragon was glad to have someone who could help with Saphira, even though I was happy to help him; he needed someone with special training. Arianna had all of that. She was also one of the most beautiful elves ever.

Together they worked with Saphira and made her the strongest she could ever be for her age. Eragon no longer had anytime for me. Arianna was always there with them. They became inseparable.

As the war continued I felt more and more alone. Eragon was always fighting or training or resting. Arianna was always with him when he trained. Eragon protected her from everything. She was the most valuable thing in the fort besides Eragon and Saphira. Even though she wasn't the only elf princess she was deemed more precious, just because she was the dragon's keeper. She was the dragon rider's keeper too.

Like I said I regret Arianna. She should never have become the dragon's keeper. If she hadn't she would have lived longer. She was the youngest princess. One of the older ones should have been the keeper. She should have lived peacefully in the elves palace. She would have been safe.

Arianna died not too long after the biggest battle that we have had since the first dragon riders were killed. Eragon was out battling in the field and Arianna was inside. The fort was stormed and Arianna was captured. She was sent to take care of the king's dragon rider, Murtagh. She refused to give her secrets to the king and the rider. A new shade killed her.

It killed Eragon to find the body of his friend. She was dressed in the same midnight blue she always wore but it was red with blood. She had been poisoned with small needles that had been stuck into her arms. Her already pale skin was blue. Eragon and Saphira took the body to a mountaintop and covered her in the ice diamond like Brom.

If I had never took Arianna to Eragon she would still be alive. She was my favorite sister. I wish I could have take care of her like I should have. I didn't have time for her because of the egg. I wish things were different. Eragon is silent now. He only speaks if he has to in council. Mostly he takes to Saphira and trains for the next battle.

My name is Arya. I am the Princess of the Elves. My job is to take care of Eragon and Saphira now that Arianna is gone. I have become the dragon's keeper but I shall never be the dragon rider's keeper. That will always be Arianna's job. She has Eragon's heart and he has hers. They will never be together but they will always love each other.
