HEY!!!!! what's up! um... sorry I haven't.. done anything.. AT ALL lately. so here's a little kataang-y-ish one- shot 4 u... turns out zuko? CANON Kataanger XD fo'sho.

um.... this id from Zuko's POV.. it seems a little zutara-ish to me- but i'm insane, so, who knows??

I no own AtLA. If i did- the finale would have-- o, wait. I LOVED the Finale.

"Katara?" said Aang.

I felt a bead of sweat roll down my face.

Katara.

That was the name of the Water Tribe girl. It was weird. I've heard it so many times by now, but unless you told me- I couldn't remember for the life of me- the name of that girl. I will always know her as "the Avatar's girlfriend" because that's what she is.

I think.

"I'll go along with what ever you think is right." She said- rather harshly, I might add. Damn! Why did it have to be her of all people down in that cave? Why did I have to get closer to her than the rest of "Team Avatar" just to betray them all?

To tell you the truth, she scares me more than the blind one- Toph (why can I remember her name? oh, yeah. It sounds like "tough" which, I guess, she is).

On impulse, I smiled. I'd somehow- on a miracle! Been accepted into their group. "I won't let you down!" more to… Katara than anyone else.

And that was it. They all just kind of up and left. But later Sokka- the Water boy- showed me to my room. I was unpacking, actually looking at a portrait of my Uncle, when she came in. I kind of gave her a smile when I saw her. I really wanted to make amends with this girl, but judging by what she told me next, it wasn't going to happen very soon.

"You may have everyone else her buying your-" she paused, looking for a word. "Transformation. But you and me both know you've struggled with doing the right thing in the past. So let me tell you something right now." She'd stopped leaning on the door frame and stood inches from my face. By now my smile was longgone. Don't tell I told you this, but- I was scared out of my freaking mind. "You make one step backwards. One slip-up. Give me one reason to think you might hurt Aang, and you won't have to worry about your destiny anymore." The way she spoke, it was so dark. Like she was trying to kill me with her words. And I could feel a slicing pain in my side. Whoever said 'words will never hurt me,' I'd like to see. "Because I'll make sure your destiny ends. Right then and there. Permanently."

Then she left. Okay. Both my suspicions were confirmed.

One- She, Katara, wanted me dead. And she would gladly kill me herself.

And two- Aang and Katara? Defiantly together.

so. um... sorry for all the weird (parentheses) and random italics. there's lots of "quotations," too. I dunno what's up with that. kinda my writing style. sorry bout that ^^;
