Wonderful
(215 words)
Those last few moments he had spent with the real Captain Jack Harkness had been so very wonderful. And now they were over. Gone. Finished. They'd never come back. He would never experience them again. He would never see the REAL Captain Jack again. He had died so long ago...
He felt so fake. Now he had a face, a face to match to the name he had selfishly taken. Now he knew the man that he had robbed of his name, the only thing that really remained after he was dead.
Time marches ever onwards. If nothing else, he had learned that. The years that had been stolen from him, never to be returned. The time he spend with Rose and the Doctor. And, afterwards, with Martha and the Doctor. It had passed so quickly, he had blinked and it was gone. Just like his memories. Just like the true Captain Jack Harkness' life. Just like his time with the war hero.
He will live on. As long as I live—and, now I know, it's gonna be a helluva long time—I will remember. I will remember Rose. And that first Doctor. And the next. And Martha. My team. And Jack. Especially Jack. I will live for them all. And I will live for him.
A/N: Gosh, I'm really on a roll today...
I wrote this during West and the World, after the InuYasha drabble. Again, on a whim. I have no idea where it came from of why it's here, but here it is. Clearly, you can see that it takes place after the Season one finale, and after the Doctor Who finale. (If you've only seen one and not the other, watch them both, back to back Torchwood first, and everything will make sense.)
Since this is my first attempt at a Torchwood Fic, reviews would make me happy. 3
I challange any Torchwood writers to try writing something inspired by the word "Wonderful". If you do, let me know. I wanna see.

P.S. Is 215 words too long to be considered a drabble?
