Chapter 2: Lurker in the shadows

They all screamed. Mako and Bolin screamed back and Bolin stopped and said "wait why we are screaming?"

Frankie came out and said "Hi I'm Frankie Stein. I'm Korra's best friend." Bolin stopped and looked Frankie

"What a minute, Korra has only one best friend and that's me." Bolin said. "and what is she?"

"She's been kidnapped by the ghost of um, oh, um the shadow halls."

"The ghost of the shadow halls." Asami remarked to Frankie. "good one."

Then the house light dimed and flicked. Tenzin came in "Hello girls, Korra would have showed you your rooms but she's not here so I will show you." Tenzin waited for them to follow and they did. Frankie checked the walls for Korra but nothing then something in the walls melted. Korra fallen on Mako and Tenzin groaned and opened the door to their room.

Frankie saw the room. Small but big, the beds looked very comfy with its multa-blue/purple sheets. "Wow! This room is so ghoul!" Draculaura told Tenzin.

"Thanks." Tenzin said "oh and dinners at 7:00." Frankie put her suitcase/ backpacks on her bed. Cleo flops on the bed and exhales a deep breath. She slowly puts on Lip Smackers Ice Cream Cake flavor Chap Stick. Asami sits next to her and puts on her Lip Smackers Watermelon flavor Chap Stick.

"So what are we going to do?" Asami questions "the ghost is all mean and kinda pretty."

Frankie shakes in fear "I saw this book while we were running." Frankie opened it and reads

My diary entry is right here. The killer is my boyfriend and I can't believe it. John opens the door and kills my sister. My family is gone. I can't live with myself letting a serial killer in my house. All I have is my proud and my name Johanna Gills.

"Wait, Johanna Gills I heard about her death. The serial killer John Mainland." Asami told us. Frankie continues on

I don't have much time. John has found me and will kill me. Oh-no he has comed in! I'm so scared I'm making up words! John just k.i.l.l.e…d …..me. Can't write for long. When you found this diary hide it. From me.

"Wow!" Cleo said "What a sad death." Frankie looks at the book and finds a page missing. Then the lights turned off. Frankie feels someone grabbing the book.

"Hey!" Frankie shouted "Give it back!" but it didn't and kicked Frankie in the stomach. The lights turned back on. Frankie run to the window and saw invisible feet prints. Korra searched for the book.

"Where is it?" She asked Frankie.

"It's gone!" Frankie yelled

Korra looks out the window and runs to the front yard. Frankie and Draculaura follow her. "The foot prints lead to the graveyard." Korra told them. They followed the foot prints but then they suddenly stopped. Korra saw the sun falling. Then the darkness came closing in.

"Let's go home." She replied. Frankie stopped and looked around the trees.

"What?" Korra said her voice sounding broken.

"I can't find Draculaura!" Frankie cried.
