I sat there, gripping onto the young hero. His head laid on my lap. I stroked his stomach, where he's been stabbed. The knife that had done it His clothes were stained with his blood, which has formed a puddle that started to soak into my clothes. But I don't care.

His breathing was so shallow, and his heart beat slowly. I could see my tears run off of the edge of my nose, and onto his cheek. "Link," I said.

"Sh-Sheik," He said to me in a shaky voice. "A-are you okay?" I let out a quiet sob, and held Link closer. "N-no, really. Will you be fine when this is over? When I'm gone?"

"Link, don't say that!" I said, looking him in the eye. His beautiful blue eyes. "Save your strength." I told him.

"What's the p-point? I'm not going to be here." Said Link. I couldn't stand it anymore. Obviously I won't be able to get a red fairy or red potion in time, and i have been planning to tell him my secret. the rest of my life would be full of regret if I didn't. So, I did.

"Link, pull down my mask," I said.

"W-what?"

"You heard me."

Link slowly lifted his hand, and placed two fingers on the top of the mask covering my mouth. Hesitantly, he pulled my mask down. He stared at my uncovered face. "Zelda," He said. His eyes closed, and they never opened again.
