It was an ordinary day for the people of MAX city. Everyone was going around on their usual routines, going here, going there. Pretty soon it hits noon and one boy is just now starting his routine. Meet Reiji. Rage for short. Rage was just now getting up, late as usual. "Wow. I actually woke up a bit earlier than yesterday. That's…odd. Oh well, I gotta get ready to go to Emi's place." Emi Toshiba is a really smart girl and everyone was surprised when she started dating Rage. He just didn't seem her type, but after watching him dance, everyone could see why they're perfect for each other.

Another hour went by, and Rage finally got to Emi's house so they could just hang out like always. After getting in the door, he noticed something different about her. She seemed more…irritable. As if something was making her mad. "Rage, I think you forgot something." "What do you mean? I remembered my key, my phone, my hat…yup, everything's here." "That's not what I mean Rage. I mean you forgot a date." "Did I forget a birthday? I thought I already got something for Gus. Maybe I didn't." "Again, you missed the point. If you don't get what I mean just go home. I'll talk to you tomorrow."

Later that night, Rage decided to call his friend Gus on the phone. "Hello?" "Hey…Gus." "You okay? You don't sound too happy." "Emi got mad because I 'forgot a date'. What's that even mean?" "It means just that. You forgot a date. I'm guessing an important one. What was yesterday?" "Yesterday was…let's see. Oh yeah! Yesterday was July 18th! I got Shimesa a gift though." "Well then I don't know. Sorry Rage. I'll call you back later." "Okay. Bye."

During that time, Emi also called someone. Emi called her best friend around. Yuni Verse. "Hey Emi!" "Hi Yuni." "Is something wrong?" "You know what yesterday was right?" "Of course I do! Shimesa's 15th birthday, and you and Rage's 2 year anniversary!" "See! You remembered! So why couldn't he?" "Maybe he was stressed from work. Or maybe he was thinking about Shimesa, and your anniversary just slipped past his mind." "Ok. Well that's not a legitimate excuse. He should of remembered our anniversary first." "I guess that's true. Well I'll talk to you later!" "Ok. Bye."
