Another day by the pool...

"I'm not giving Issei to you!" Rias exclaimed angrily with her right hand filled with red and black energy.

"You won't let me play with him a little?" Akeno calmly asked with her right hand filled with lightning.

"I don't know why you want to, considering the fact that you hate men," Rias fired her dark energy.

"You're one to talk. You said all men look the same, and you can't possibly be interested," Akeno dodged the blast and fires her ball of lightning.

The powers fired through the gates of the school pool. The two Devils flew above, and they were lucky there are no witnesses for this fight. Each of them fired their powers onto each other. Luckily, Akeno fires her lightning by the pool, and Rias got thrown by that.

"Why, you..." the latter tried to make another attack before being pinned down by the former to the wall.

It is then that Akeno showed her sadness this time.

"That's it! I've had enough of you, Rias! Why are you hurting me for flirting with Issei? You promised you would take care of me ever since you rescued me from my own family! Look at what you're doing right now!" she sobbed with tears flowing down her cheeks. "It's been like this ever since the last time we went to the pool and also when I started to stay at Issei's home! Why do you insist on having Issei all to yourself?! I though you were a good friend! Why are you hurting me for this?! Please, Rias. Tell me. Can't we just go back to the way we were right before Issei came to our lives?"

Realizing what is going on right now, the red-haired woman calmed down, and her servant lets her go from her grip.

"Akeno. I'm sorry. It's just that, you remind me of a friend. I'm not talking about Sona; it was someone else," Rias explained softly. "She and I... were in a love triangle, and I won. However, she didn't accept defeat so she became a Stray and tried to kill me for it, but I took care of it. Since then, I swore to never share my love interests ever again, but I realize my mistake, Akeno, and I'm sorry for fighting with you because of this."

"That's what I wanted to hear for so long!" Akeno smiled as she hugged her and puts her lips towards hers.

"I-I thought you wanted to play with Issei," Rias asked.

"True, but now, I just wanted to spend some time with you."

Akeno extended her hand, and Rias grabbed it with response. The two smiled at each other and decided to get on with their day together.

As the others seeing this...

"It's about time those two got over with their rivalry," Issei commented.

"It's so scary," Asia also commented while helping Koneko get up.

"What now?" the latter asked.

"Just leave them alone," was the reply.

This time, their time on the pool is going to be better than the last one.

Author's Note: I feel sympathy on them. Rias and Akeno have been good friends in Volumes 1 -3 (season 1 episodes 1 - season 2 episode 6), and now, they're rivals in Volume 4 (season 2 episode 7). I wish they would go back to the way they were before Issei meet them.
