"No!" cried Natsu."You can't just die!"

"Natsu..." replied Lucy,weakly from her deep wound.

With just about no magic left, Lucy layed there. Natsu was fighting Acnologia, the most powerful dragon known to mankind.

"Fire dragon wing attack!"yelled Natsu as deadly flames sprouted from his arms and swung at the beast. Acnologia took it head on. No effect. Natsu continued to launch his attacks one by one, but it had no effect. Then, Acnologia countered. But not at Natsu, at Lucy as she still layed there.

"Luce! Watch out!"cried Natsu. She couldn't move though. So Natsu jumped in and took the attack head on.

There was water everywhere. It left Natsu lying on the floor in front of Lucy. Everything around them for miles was destroyed.

"Natsu..."

"Luce"

The beast attacked again. This time, Natsu was down too.

"NO!"screamed Lucy as she managed to put a golden key out."OPEN GATE OF THE WATER BARRER, AQUARIUS!" she yelled out just as the dragon's watery attack made contact with the key. And the claw with her stomach. Aquarius emerged out of the golden light and began to take control of the water and somehow managed to drive Acnologia away.

Back to the present

"Natsu, don't the stars look pretty tonight?"

"Yeah they do."

"I'm scared. What if its the last time I'll ever see them? What if I die here? Everyone's just gonna forget me-"

"Stop thinking like that"

"But Natsu-"

"Just stop saying that. I won't let that happen. I'll always have you with me in here" he said ad he pointed to his heart. She cried more as the color was slowly drained from her face and she grew colder. He lit a flame to keep them both warm. "Luce ever since the day we met, I've always loved you. And I always will."

"Natsu I love you too but I'm not gonna make it"

Those were her last words. She looked so beautiful, just like she did on the day the met, even though she was now covered in blood. She wore the same outfit. Natsu took off his scarf and put it around her neck. He left her lying on the hill as he began to walk back to Fairy Tail. Then he looked back.

"I love you Lucy"he gently whispered.
