Note: There are some spoilers, but if you haven't seen the film, you probably wouldn't understand the references anyway! If you haven't seen it, I can only urge you to watch it…it's outstanding.

TO WILLIAM

a From Hell poem by JetNoir

To William

a twisting of this dark and suggestive philosophy, and as i am called again to the one i despise, these multitude of secrets, buried alive, but no choice, must, have, oh…what have i done? perhaps my greed, or desire or lust…

ONCE UPON A TIME

IN A LAND FAR FAR AWAY

THERE ONCE WAS A PRINCESS

WHO WAS RESCUED BY A KNIGHT

IN RUSTY ARMOUR WHO SLEW A

DRAGON

OH, AND THE FUN THEY HAD!

YET DID THE KNIGHT SLAY THE DRAGON? LED HIM TO THE SWORD OF THE ORGANISATION? AND THEN THE KNIGHT FALLS UPON A LARGE ROCK and THE CULMINATION OF A TRAGIC END FOR THE KNIGHT

can you call this hatred fun, or the love that can spring from nowhere

and the people are shameless, rude, and all inconsiderate…scum, neither you nor i but most but some are the merde that makes us who we

(maybenoi'msurethatiactuallyamrightforifi'mnotthenitwouldbejusttoomuchtobear) are really what these questions mean but I

and so,.. Dr Gull – we present to you this (pretty piece of flesh) gift From HELL

Sir William Gull

God loves him best of all

Note: This poem is inspired by the works of E. E. Cummings, so the dodgy grammar is intentional! I hope to write a fanfic based on From Hell, probably something to do with Godley, as I thought Robbie Coltrane was wonderful. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it and please review.

Disclaimer: From Hell is copyright to Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell; and the poem to me. This poem has been written on the understanding that you may read it and print it out; but you may not pass it off as your own, hire it out, or sell it for money. You also may not put it on your own or any other web page without my express written permission. Thankyou!
