I saw this AMV on youtube and thought It was too cute.

Don't own T.T

A young girl no less than five laid sprawled out on her parents bed waiting for her brother to return home from the hospital. He had been diagnosed with cancer a few months before and was constantly away from her, she even heard her mother say he was going to die. She gently touched her long black tresses. messurring the length before rolling off and heading to the bathroom with a plan set in her young mind.

Turn away...

If you could get me a drink,

Of water cause my lips are chapped and faded.

Call my Aunt Marie...

She ran to the window to check if anyone was coming and smiled to herself thinking about how happy they'd be once they'd seen what she had done. She saw them pulling up and ran to the bathroom as fast as her small legs could carry her.

Help her gather all her things,

And bury me.

In all my favorite colors,

My sisters and my brothers, still,

I will not kiss you!

'Cause the hardest part of this,

Is leaving you...

She had to act quickly. She went into her mothers green bag and spilled it's contents on the floor. She spotted the sissors and grabbed them quickly and looked into the mirror. Petting her hair, as if almost to say good bye, she released a small sigh and put the sissors to her hair opening them slightly around her ebony locks before slicing it off easily.

Now turn away,

'Cause I'm awful just to see,

'cause my all my hair's abandoned all

My body,

All my agony,

Know that I will never marry!

Baby, I'm just soggy from the chemo,

But counting down the days to go...

The hair fell silently to the ground, the only actual sounds you could hear were the small snip! snip! snip! coming from the sissors. She stood on her tippy toes to get a better view of what she was cutting, she quickly gathered all of her clippings and held out her shirt to make a sort of basket for the hair when she heard a knock on the door. Leaving the sissors behind she ran to open it with much enthusiasium.

'Cause if you say goodbye today,

I'd ask you to be true,

'Cause the hardest part of this,

Is leaving you.

She opened the door to reveal two smiling parents and a boy wearing a hat to hide his shaved head. She smiled brightly at them when the noticed her hair missing and cut in odd ways. But she just walked up to her brother and showed him what was in her makeshift basket.

"They're for you." She said barely audible. Her brother grinned and took her offering happily and traded her his hat. She smiled her blue eyes sparkling with tears as she hugged her brother hoping this would be the last time they were apart, even though she knew, soon, he would be gone for an even longer period of time.

'Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you.
