I wrote this for school poetry day, about Shadow's memories of Maria. REVIEW SO I GET SOME FEEDBACK BEFORE I TURN IT IN FOR A GRADE!

Memory

I can recall everything

Thoughts that gave us joy

Your smile

Beliefs we shared

Tears we shed

I remember these questions we asked

That which we once sought out

Lessons we learned

Time passed on as if it were illusory

We drifted without change

Our fears were very little

We stood hand in hand

I can remember what was said

What you shouted

How we replied

I remember where we wanted to go

How you never got there

That you never saw it

I remember things I wish I did not

I can remember the darkest despair

The look in your eyes as you fell

Made these memories seem so fake

But the tears that time

Made the memories twice as real
