Sometimes I wish I never met you. (I wish I'd just walked away)
Sometimes I wish I'd just passed you by. (I wish I never saw you)
Sometimes I pitied you. (Sometimes I admired you)
Sometimes I hated you. (Sometimes I loved you)
And yet…there were those times… (Good times and bad, it's hard to tell the difference these days)
I smiled for you. (it was always fake, just like you)
I cried for you. (I thought I would drown, but you never cared)
I missed you. (how could I miss you if you were never there?)
I nearly died for you. (I was dead already, and you threw the kunai)
Maybe I was afraid. (never knew why)
Maybe I was hiding. (from the truth, like always)
But it's too late now… (how could I have been so blind?)
I can see you walking, through the path you have carved out of blood and the dead bodies of my (your) friends. You're gone. (I can't see you anymore, it's too dark)
And I know it's forever.
