Hey Everyone! I'm here with another story, this one being both sides of the stories of Twilight Princess, well how I thought it should have been. But that's why it's a fanfic! Enjoy!

A young woman stared out the window looking at her twilight a voice said: coming from the shadows of her room.

"Seeing the souls of my people, no; not really." She replied.

A feminine laugh sounded, "You're the one who surrendered and gave up."

"Hmph, if you say so." The woman said with a shrug.

A creature with a helmet and bright orange hair descended from the shadows. She was floating in mid-air; her red pupils dripping with rage. "At least I'm fighting for my people; unlike you, refusing to fight back!" The imp screeched.

"Your fighting back alone would only make it worse" The hyrulian answered calmly.

"Princess Zelda, what makes you think your wiser then me?" Screamed the creature.

Zelda said nothing as she raised her left hand and the triforce glowed. "You're the wisdom holder?" The twili asked, calming.

"Indeed, it's time I know who you are." The cloaked woman said.

"Call me Midna." She replied, pushing her orange hair behind her helmet.

"Zelda, I don't enjoy being called princess." The hyrulian said.

"My apologies, but you disgust me with surrendering." Midna said, crossing her arms.

"Fighting isn't the answer to gain peace." The princess replied.

"We both want our kingdoms back!" Midna snapped.

"You're the Twilight Princess." The young woman gasped.

Midna suddenly became soft and lost her attitude rather quickly at the sound of the title. She quickly snapped, "Do not tell anyone! Zant, he was going to be my husband. Then he started to believe in this new god. I still love him but he's evil!" Midna covered her mouth to keep her sobs from coming out. She shut her eyes tightly and bright, glowing orange tear fell.

Zelda remembered her hero: Link. After he left for Termina, she never saw him again. He promised to return and it has been seven years. The sound of chains clinking together echoed outside of Zelda's chambers. "You must go, the guards are making their rounds." The hyrulian princess warned.

Midna quickly gained her attitude back and wiped her misty eyes. "Those stupid twilight monsters fear me. But it would seem you are in enough trouble as it is." Midna said, dissolving into twilight particles and left through the window.

The twilight monster entered and dropped a tray on the ground. The water spilled and the food fell to the ground. Zelda waited got the monster to leave. "Where are the heroes now?" She sighed.
