'Red' Drabble

Summary: Elizabeth realizes the importance of a certain article of clothing. I think I changed around the battle plan from the end of AWE a little, but oh well.
Elizabeth sat in the rowboat with Barbossa and Will, heading back to the Pearl. She felt terrible for giving Jack to Beckett and Jones, but was ecstatic about having Will back. At least it appeared they had a plan; the two of them had traded looks that were too guarded to mean nothing.
She hoped it coincided with Barbossa and her's plan of releasing Calypso to help in their fight against the EITC. Barbossa had told her about needing all nine pieces of eight to release the sea goddess, but she had still been surprised when he had sliced the coin off Jack's bandana. She had never seen Jack without the red piece of cloth, so the coin tended to blend in with the overall scoundrel look. She had no idea that the coin had been so important. It was yet another thing that the group would need to apologize for taking from Jack after this was all over and done with.
