Prologue: The Second Killing Game
Makoto Naegi awoke holding his head in confusion as he regained consciousness.
"Ugh what happened?" he asked as he ran a hand through his shaggy light brown hair and opened his green eyes to look around the room he was in. He quickly found that he was in a classroom. Upon closer inspection, he found that the classroom was very familiar. If the bolted windows weren't enough of a fact of where he is then the pamphlet he finds on the teacher's desk telling him to meet in the gymnasium at eight o'clock for orientation immediately made everything so very clear.
"This...this is impossible" he says dropping the pamphlet and looking at the clock seeing it was already eight. he quickly pulls open the door to the classroom and rushes to the gym horribly familiar with his settings. Upon throwing open the doors he stops dead in his tracks as eighteen unfamiliar pairs of eyes settle on him.
"Oh good it would seem like the last of us has arrived" A boy says holding up his pamphlet, "According to this were now supposed to introduce ourselves, i'm Light Yagami" the boy now identified as Light declares. Light has fair skin, he is of Asian descent (Japanese), he has dreamy chocolate brown eyes that make you want to swoon, short light golden brown hair that reaches the top of the back of his neck and is reminiscent of Justin Beiber, he is tall, thin and muscular. He is wearing a white button-up dress shirt with the top button undone and loose silk red necktie, light grey designer dress pants with a black leather belt with a silver belt buckle, black dress socks and black designer leather dress shoes.
"I'm Sam Manson" a goth girl says next. Sam wears purple lipstick. She has fair skin, violet eyes, and short black hair that reaches her chin. She has a small ponytail at the top and at the back of her head held by a green hair tie. Her clothing consists of a black choker around her neck. Her upper body consists of a black tank top exposing her midriff with a purple oval in the center. Her lower body consists of a black striped skirt with a green crosshatch design, purple leggings, and black combat boots. She also wears a pair of black bracelets around both of her wrists.
"I'm Anna Arendelle and this is my sister Elsa" Anna says with a Norwegian accent introducing her self and her sister standing next to her on her right. Anna has fair skin, she has icy blue eyes and hip-length strawberry-blonde hair with a single white blonde streak on her right side, her hair is tied into two braids. She is tall and model thin. She is wearing a black tank-top covered by a hot pink off the shoulder cropped tee-shirt that reveals the hot pink straps of her lacy bra, a hot pink plaid ruffled mini-skirt, white tights and black designer knee-high high-heeled boots. She also has a charm bracelet on her left wrist and a silver heart locket around her neck. Elsa has porcelain skin, she has icy blue eyes and hip-length icy blonde hair that is tied into a french braid that she keeps over her left shoulder. She is tall and model thin. She is wearing an icy blue dress that reaches her mid-thigh that has white lace on the bottom and underneath, a black cropped leather jacket with a white fur collar that reaches to just under her breasts, white lace fingerless gloves and icy blue designer kitten heels. She also has a charm bracelet on her left wrist and a silver heart locket around her neck. She also has on heavy black eyeliner and pale pink lipgloss.
"I'm Kyle Broflovski" Another boy says. Kyle has fair skin, he has brown eyes, shoulder-length red hair that is covered by a green and black beanie, he is tall and scrawny and he is wearing an orange sweater covered by a black unzipped puffy vest, black jeans and black converse sneakers., "And this fat-ass is Cartman" Kyle continues pointing towards the fat kid to his left. Cartman has fair skin, he has brown eyes and short messy brown hair that is covered by a yellow and blue beanie, he is short and very overweight and he is wearing a blue tee-shirt which is covered by a red jacket, worn out jeans, yellow gloves and white run down sneakers.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP YA STUPID JEW!" Cartman yells at Kyle furiously.
"YOU SHUT UP FAT-ASS!" Kyle yells back just as furious.
"I'm Cody and this is Sierra" another boy says motioning to the gril sitting next to him. Cody has fair skin, short brown hair that reaches to just below his ears. His hair is longer and messier in his bangs and is parted down the middle. He has sky blue eyes, he is just as scrawny as Noah and only a little bit shorter then the bookworm. He is also slightly slouched over. He is wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt covered by a pale yellow polo shirt with a single red and blue stripe. He is also wearing dark navy cargo pants and dark olive green sneakers. Sierra is quite tall and she has an hourglass figure. She has knee-length dark purple hair tied into a braided ponytail. She has chocolate colored skin and dark brown eyes. She immediately pulls Cody into a hug which makes him look uncomfortable.
"Oh Cody I hope we found out what's going on soon" Sierra exclaims. Before Makoto can say anything another girl introduces herself.
"I'm Nui Harime and its very nice to meet all of you" she says cheerfully. Nui has fair skin, she has knee-length light golden blond hair styled in drill-like pigtails, with smaller locks framing her face. Her eyes are sapphire blue, with highlights that resemble a smiling face. She is medium height and thin. Nui is wearing a richly adorned pink lolita-styled dress with matching boots and fingerless gloves. She accentuates her ensemble with a parasol, a large pink hair bow and a purple eyepatch over her left eye. Her design has a prominent heart motif, such as on her collar, the center of her bow, her earrings, and even the highlights on her pigtails.
"Sasuke" Another boy says with a scowl. Sasuke has pale skin, he has charcoal colored eyes and spiky black hair with a blue tint that resembles a duck's butt in the back. His hair reaches to his chin. He is tall, thin and has the figure of someone who regularly works out. He is weraing dark blue pants, over which hangs a blue cloth that covers him from his stomach to his knees, which he secures with a purple rope belt. He complements this with a white long-sleeved shirt kept open at the torso and black arm guards that cover his forearms.
"I'm Anna Marie" Another girl who is standing slightly away from the others says. Anna Marie has fair skin, striking emerald green eyes, long dark chocolate brown hair with snow-white streaks in the front that falls to her hips. She is tall and thin with wiry muscles and she is wearing ripped black leggings, a black leather mini skirt with a chain belt, A black spaghetti strap corset with dark purple laces, a black leather jacket with chains hanging off of it from her shoulders, black spiked bracelets with six silver spikes on both of her wrists, black studs in both her earlobes and knee-high black gothic rocker boots with multiple straps, buckles, and silver spikes on the toes. She is also wearing black fingernail polish.
"Hi i'm Asuna" another girl says introducing herself. Asuna has fair skin, she has orange colored eyes and hip-length ginger colored hair with part of it tied into a braided knot behind her head. She is petite and model thin. She is wearing a white turtle-neck sweater, a white jacket, a red and dark pink plaid mini-skirt that reaches her mid thigh, grey tights and dark brown hiking sneakers. She is also wearing a silver cross necklace around her neck.
"I'm Lapis, Lapis Lazuli" a weird looking girl states. Lapis has a slim figure and is considerably tall. Lapis has cyan skin, cobalt blue chin-length hair with long bangs and fringe that covers her entire forehead, which occasionally looks messier and round, royal blue eyes. Her gemstone is embedded in her back, which takes the form of a water droplet.
"I'm Peter, Peter Parker" the boy says introducing himself. Peter has fair skin, he has short dark chocolate brown hair that gives off the messy bedhead look and reaches to the top of the back of his neck and emerald green eyes covered by black nerdy round-framed glasses. He is tall and he is very thin as well. He is wearing a light olive colored tee -shirt covered by an unzipped dark grey hoodie, dark wash blue jeans, a dark brown belt with a silver belt buckle, black socks and dark loafers. He also carries a black DSLR camera around his neck and has a black wrist watch on his left wrist.
"I am NiCO its very nice to make you aquantience" another girl says with a Finnish accent. NiCO has fair skin, she has teal hair styled into a bob-cut with a pink hair-pin on the left side keeping her hair out of her left eye. She has stormy-blue eyes covered by teal oval-shaped glasses. She is petite and thin and she is wearing a white overcoat and top, as well as an ID card attached to her coat over her left breast. She also wears blue shorts and has a blue sleeveless shirt underneath her white top, as well as white socks and arm braces. She also wears white thigh-high boots with blue trim on the heels. She also wears blue-colored electro-gloves that cover all except for her fingers and thumb.
"I'm Chris" another boy says. Chris has fair skin, shoulder length blonde hair, dark colored eyes. He is medium height and overweight. he is wearing a dark blue tee-shirt, black pants, white sneakers with two red stripes on each side and a baseball cap that is orange in the front and black in the back.
"I'm Draco, Draco Malfoy" another boy with a British accent says crossing his arms in annoyance. Draco has fair skin, short icy blonde hair that reaches to the back of the top of his neck and parts to the right. He has icy blue eyes. He is tall, thin and slightly muscular. He is wearing a black button up shirt with a silk emerald green and silver horizontal striped necktie covered by a black dress suit jacket, black designer dress pants with a black belt, black dress socks and black designer leather dress shoes.
"And i'm Spencer" the last girl introduces herself. Spencer has porcelain skin, dark brown eyes, mid-back length straight dark chocolate-brown hair. She is tall and thin. She is wearing a white button-up dress shirt covered by a black blazer, a black business skirt and a pair of black open-toed wedges, "You are?" she asks staring at Makoto.
"I'm Makoto, Makoto Naegi and we have to get out of here NOW!" Makoto exclaims.
"Why, what's wrong?" Cody asks.
"What's wrong is that we all woke in this bloody place and we have no idea where we are" Draco yells furiously.
"I do" Makoto replies, "Were in Hope's Peak Academy and were being held prisoner" he finishes.
"How do you know that?" Lapis asks with a slight edge to her voice.
"Because i've been held here against my will before" Makoto replies as everyone stares at him in shock.
"That's riiight Naegi" a voice says as everyone turns behind them towards the podium on the stage as a bear appears.
"MONOKUMA!" Makoto exclaims angrily. Monokuma is a bear with his whole face and body are divided by the center into two parts. It resembles the Yin-Yang symbol, of which there is a balance between two opposites in a way similar to a "flow". Its right side is white and has the classic expression of teddy bear; While its left side shows a more sinister appearance. It is black, has a red horizontal stripe for an eye and an evil smile. Although it is completely divided into two opposite sides, the only parts of Monokuma that are not affected by the division in its area are the snout and the belly, since both remain white. He also has a large, obvious belly button on the underside of his belly. His protruding navel has an "X" shaped mark on it.
"Hey Naegi ol' buddy ol' pal, its been two years since we last saw each other, how are you?" Monokuma asks.
"Enough games Junko, come out and show yourself!" Makoto exclaims pointing his finger at Monokuma who begins laughing.
"That crazy bitch is dead remember, you executed her after you defeated her" Monokuma replies matter-of-factly.
"T-Then how?" Makoto asks shocked.
"Excuse me, why are we conversing with a teddy bear?" NiCO asks confused.
"I'm not a teddy bear! I...am...Monokuma! And I am this school's headmaster!" Monokuma explains angrily as he crosses his arms, "How dare you compare me to a child's plaything! You've cut me deep. Deeper than the Mariana Trench... My remote control system is so complex, even the folks at NASA can't recreate or even comprehend it! Ah, but don't make me say stuff that might destroy NASA's dreams. I just couldn't BEAR that!" he says as he begins chuckling at his own pun, "Now, ah, make no mistake—you few students, so full of potential, represent the hope of the world. And to protect such splendid hope... ...you will all live a communal life together solely within the confines of this school. Everyone will live in harmony together, and adhere to the rules and regulations of the school. I am not screwing with you! I am no liar, of that can be 100% sure. Ah, and just for your information... you're completely cut off from the outside world. So you don't have to worry about that dirty dirty land beyond these walls ever again!" Monokuma exclaims
"C-Cut off...?" Elsa asks horrified in a Norwegian accent.
"So all those metal plates all over the school...?" Lapis asks also horrified.
"They're there to keep us trapped in here!" Makoto exclaims angrily.
"That's exactly what they're there for. No matter how much you may yell and scream for help...help will not come. So with all of that in mind, feel free to live out your life here with reckless abandon!" Monokuma finishes as everyone stares at him in horror before they all begin yelling at the same time about how this has to be a joke.
"You keep saying this is a lie, or a joke. A bunch of skeptics, all of you. But I guess you can't help it, huh? You all grew up in an age where you're taught to doubt your neighbor... Well, you'll have plenty of time to find out whether or not what I say is true. And when that time comes, you'll see with your own eyeballs that I speak the undeniable truth." he continues.
"Oh cut the crap Monokuma, you brought us all here to kill each other just like you did last time!" Makoto exclaims angrily as everyone stares at Monokuma in surprise.
"Ah, okay that was total bullshit" Monokuma replies chuckling.
"You won't get away with this Monokuma, you are not going to make any of us kill one another!" Makoto declares as Monokuma just laughs hysterically.
"Naegi, your not trapped here with your former classmates this time that you can sway with your stupid speeches of hope and friendship, you're stuck with people who all have committed a very dark act in their life so far and are not above doing whatever it takes to get what they want" Monokuma says before continuing, "Speaking of that as headmaster, I've crafted a special clause for those of you who would like to leave! I call it... the Graduation Clause! Now, let me tell you about this fun little rule. As I mentioned, in order to maintain an environment of harmony here, we rely on a communal lifestyle. And if someone were to disrupt that harmony, they and they alone would be allowed to leave the school. That, my students, is the Graduation Clause!" Monokuma explains
"What do you mean by "disrupt the harmony?" Light asks.
"Puhuhu... Well, you know... If one person were to murder another" Monokuma replies
"M-Murder!?" Elsa exclaims horrified in a Norwegian accent.
"Stabbing, strangling, bludgeoning, crushing, hacking, drowning, igniting, how you do it doesn't matter. You must kill someone if you want to leave. It's as simple as that. The rest is up to you. Give it your all to achieve the best outcome in the worst way impossible." Monokuma states as everyone looks horrified, "Puhuhu. I bet *that* got your brain juices flowing! Beats the heck out of a human catching a salmon, huh?" Monokuma continues.
"What the hell are you talking about!? To kill each other is... it's...!" Peter states flabberghasted.
"To kill each other is to kill each other. I'm sure there's a dictionary here somewhere if you need it." Monokuma says nonchalant.
"We know what it means, that's not the problem! Why do we have to kill each other!?" Kyle asks horrified.
"You guys just don't get it, do you?" Monokuma says clearly annoyed before he begins impersonating everyone, "Let us go, let us go!". You keep on saying the same thing over and over and over and over...!" he continues annoyed, "Listen. From this moment on, this school is your home, your life, your world. Got it? And you can kill as much as you wanna kill! So go ahead, go on a kill-kill-killing spree!" Monokuma continues gleefully.
"Come on... How long are you gonna keep this bullcrap up?" Cartman asks furiously.
"Eh?" Monokuma asks curiously.
"You got us, okay? You scared the hell out of us. So you can go ahead and reveal the trick now." Kyle says trying to rationalize the situation they are in
"Reveal the trick...? Monokuma asks.
"Yeah, cuz I mean... Y'know, this is all some kinda trick and all, right? So uh, like..." Kyle continues before trailing off.
"That's It I've had enough of this BULLCRAP!" Cartman says as he jumps onto the stage and grabs Monokuma. "I'm gonna kick you in the nuts" Cartman states furiously.
"Waah! Violence against the headmaster is in violation of school regulations!" Monokuma states nervously.
"Shut the fuck up! Let me outta here, or I swear to Christ..." Cartman continues before he begins coughing up blood, "Wah?" Cartman asks as he looks down and sees numerous metal spears sticking out of various parts of his body as blood begins dripping out of each of the wounds. He has six spears in his stomach, three in his chest, two in each of his thighs and two in each of his biceps.
"Lame!" Cartman exclaims as he lets go of Monokuma and falls to the floor in a heap of blood.
"OH MY GOD!" Sam exclaims horrified, "They killed Cartman!" she continues.
"You Bastards!" Kyle exclaims.
"Y-You killed him!" Anna-Marie states also horrified.
"Yes, well he did violate one of the school regulations, after all. Any naughty boy or girl who violates my rules won't get off with just a little swat on the butt." Monokuma replies, "There are surveillance cameras installed everywhere. And if you're caught breaking any rules, well... You all just saw what happened, right?" Monokuma continues as he chuckles, "Puhuhu... And I won't be so forgiving with my punishment next time. So don't let it happen again!" he finishes.
"Th-That's not even punishment. That's just... wrong..." Anna says horrified.
"If that's your idea of forgiving then I don't even want to know what you'll do when angry" Peter comments horrified.
"WERE ALL GONNA DIE!" Chris yells terrified.
"Now then, lastly" Monokuma begins ignoring them all, "To commemorate your joyous entry into our school, I have a little something for you..." Monokuma says as he gives them all devices that resemble smartphones, "This is our official student handbook! Pretty cool, huh? As you can see, it's fully digital. So naturally, we call it...The e-Handbook! This handbook is absolutely vital to a healthy school life, so don't lose it!" Monokuma states matter of factly, "When you start it up, it will display your name. Always make sure you have the right one!" Monokuma says as he begins chuckling, "Now, this is not your everyday notebook. It has so many more uses than that! it's completely waterproof. Splash it, wash it, drown it, it'll keep on ticking! And thanks to its space-age design, it can withstand an impact force of up to ten tons. Very resistant! It contains all of our school regulations, so make sure you review them thoroughly because you'll hear me say this a lot, but any violation of school regulations will not be tolerated. Rules restrict, yes, but they also protect. Society, for example, would be utter chaos without laws. The same thing applies here! Which is why it's crucial we have strict punishments in place for violators. Okay, well... that brings our entrance ceremony to a close! Please enjoy your abundantly dreary school life! And..." Monukuma begins before Makoto cuts him off.
"No!... Nobody's gonna give in to despair! We're not gonna lose to you!" Makoto exclaims as Monokuma becomes annoyed.
"For the last time Naegi, Junko Enoshima is DEAD!, she isn't the mastermind this time and because of that I have interest for despair this time, no I seek JUSTICE!" Monokuma states as Makoto gives him a look of shock.
"What?" Makoto asks shocked.
"Every person in this room has committed a crime in crime in some shape or form and that is why you have been brought here to pay for your crime" Monokuma continues.
"It doesn't matter, "We won't give up...! As long as there's hope, we'll never give up!" Makoto states determined, "If I don't do something, everyone's gonna be consumed by despair...! You claim there's no hope left in the world. But if despair is contagious like you say... ...the so is hope! I'll use my own hope to plant seeds of hope inside everyone else! I'm not any kind of elite anything. Hope isn't a talent you develop, but... But still... But I still...! I refuse to give up. I refuse to get bored! I refuse to throw it all away! I refuse to despair! Because all I have going for me is the desire to keep moving forward!" Makoto yells furiously, "Everything you say is a lie... our hope is spreading. As long as I never give up... I have to push even harder...! I'm going to keep moving forward, with hope in my heart. Since I have hope, I can show courage. Since I have hope... ...I can move ahead. The world...can move ahead." Makoto says as Spencer scoffs. He turns to her with a look of surprise on his face, "Spencer?" he asks caught off guard.
"Hope, seriously?" Spencer asks annoyed.
"Yes we have to have hope, that is the only way we'll get out of here" Makoto replies with a smile as Spencer frowns.
"Hope breeds eternal misery, that's all its good for" she replies.
"That's not true!" Makoto replies.
"Hope is for those who expect it, for those who are willing to blindly believe that everything will turn out okay and have it magically happen" Lapis says sadly before looking up and glaring at Makoto, "Where was hope when I was a prisoner for centuries!?" Lapis exclaims angrily.
"The world is a vile rotten place, people murdering one another, there is no hope" Light states disgusted.
"YES THERE IS!" Makoto exclaims furiously.
"Oh yeah, then where was hope when my mother abandoned me and my father died?" NiCO asks.
"Where was hope when my parents locked me in my room and refused to let me out again?" Elsa asks tearing up.
"Where was hope when my entire family was massacred right before my six-year-old eyes?" Sasuke asks glaring daggers at Makoto catching him off guard.
"Where was hope when I was cast out of society, declared a freak and hunted down by the government because I was cursed to steal the life out of people with just one touch?" Anna-Marie asks angrily as her eyes fill up with tears as Makoto gasps in shock.
"Where was hope when my ex-boyfriend tried to murder me and my sister?" Anna asks angrily as well.
"Where was bloody hope when the dark lord took over my family's manor and held me, hostage, torturing me daily to make sure my parents did whatever he told them, huh?" Draco asks also angrily. Makoto looks startled before becoming confused.
"Face it, hope does nothing but hurt" Spencer states shaking her head furiously as Monokuma begins chuckling.
"Well Naegi, I told you this was a different group of people" he says as he chuckles again, "But since i'm such a nice bear, i'll give you guys a break, If you can go the whole night with nobody murdering anybody then i'll let you all go free come daylight, bear-scout's honor" Monokuma states as everyone glares at him", "See ya" he says as he vanishes.
"How...? Why...? I don't understand any of this... We have to l-life here forever...? Or... k-kill?" Elsa asks holding her head in her hands as Anna begins comforting her as she rubs her back.
"Everyone, we need to just calm down. First, let's just take a second to summarise everything we just heard. Based on what Monokuma said, we essentially have two choices. Choice number one is that we stay here, living a "communal life" together until the day we die. And the other choice is..." NiCO explains before Sierra cuts her off.
"If we want to get out of here alive, we have to kill someone. Right? But... killing someone... That's..." she says as a dark look crosses her eyes.
"We were bloody abducted out of nowhere and stuffed into this place meant to look like a school. And now we're supposed to start killing each other? This is...This is... this is just...! What IS this!? A lie, is what it is. All these ridiculous things we've heard. This all has to be fake!" Draco exclaims angrily
"Right now it doesn't really matter if it's real or fake. What matters is...Is there anyone here who's seriously considering all this...?" Light asks as everyone looks at each other. It is Anna who then speaks up.
"The bear said if we all make it through the night without killing anyone then he'll let us go tommorow" she states.
"He's lying, he'll never let us leave, it will decrease the ratings" Makoto comments as everyone looks at him.
"What do you mean by ratings?" Saskue hisses furiously.
"The surveillance cameras watching us are recording us so whoever is masterminding Monokuma can air it on TV so the whole world can watch us all kill each other" Makoto explains as everyone becomes angry again. Draco throws his hands in the air.
"This is bloody bullshit" he exclaims angrily.
"They can't fucking do this!" Spencer exclaims angrily as she grips the sides of her head in anger.
They all stared at one another, trying to gauge each other's thoughts. I could almost taste the hostility. And that's when it hit me...I realized the true terror hidden within the rules Monokuma had laid out. "You must kill someone if you want to leave". Those words had planted vicious thoughts deep within each of us. Each of us became suspicious of everyone else. We were forced to wonder, "Is somebody going to betray us?". Makoto thought to himself as he speaks up, "Listen to me all of you, we have to stick together, we can't turn on each other and think the worst of one another!" Makoto exclaims, "We have to have hope that we will get out of this alive and okay" He adds with a smile, "If we all work together then I can guarantee we'll make it out of here alive" he says as his smile becomes a look of determination as he holds up his fist, "I was forced to play this killing game before and I survived because we worked together and had hope-" he says as Draco cuts him off.
"Will you Shut! Up! about that bloody hope nonsense!" he exclaims furiously.
"Hope is not going to get us out of here, its only going to get us excited before destroying our beliefs when it lets us down" Lapis comments.
"Putting all of our belief in Hope is highly illogical" NiCO comments as Makoto's face crumbles, "Now I believe we should go over the rules so we do not end up like Mr. Cartman" she continues as she pulls out her e-Handbook, "The rules are as stated, Rule #1: Students may reside only within the school. Leaving campus is an unacceptable use of time. Rule #2: "Nighttime" is from 10 pm to 7 am. Some areas are off-limits at night, so please exercise caution. Rule #3: Sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and punished accordingly. Rule #4: With minimal restrictions, you are free to explore Hope's Peak Academy at your discretion. Rule #5: Violence against headmaster Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is the destruction of surveillance cameras. Rule #6: Anyone who kills a fellow student and becomes "blackened" will graduate, unless they are discovered. Rule #7: Once a murder takes place, a class trial will begin shortly thereafter. Participation is mandatory for all surviving students. Rule #8: If the guilty party is exposed during the class trial, they alone will be executed. Rule #9: If the guilty party is not exposed, they alone will graduate, and all remaining students will be executed. Rule #10: Lending your e-Handbook to another student is strictly prohibited. Rule #11: The guilty party may only kill a maximum of two people during any single "Killing Game." Rule #12: Attempting to break into locked rooms is strictly prohibited. Rule #13: Additional school regulations may be added if necessary." NiCO finishes as everyone looks up angrily.
"Oh this is just bloody perfect" Draco comments angrily.
"I don't want to die" Anna exclaims as tears fill up her eyes, "Can someone please cover him up" she says pointing towards Cartman whose vacant eyes are staring up at the ceiling in silent horror.
"I got it" Kyle says throwing a sheet he pulled out of nowhere over Cartman's corpse.
"So? What are you going to do now? just stand around glaring at each other?" Anna-Marie asks curiously.
"Well honestly, I think this could be fun" Nui says as she giggles into her left hand, "I mean after all murder is such a fun activity" she adds as everyone stares at her on horror to which she simply smiles.
"Crazy chick aside, I think the best thing we can do is just to stay in the dorm rooms provided for us and wait it out til morning" Kyle states.
"Were you not listening, the asshole bear was obviously lying" Sam says annoyed as she places her hands on her hips, "There is no way he was telling the truth!" she exclaims.
"And that is why I will be looking for a way out, if anyone would like to join me, feel free" Makoto says as he turns to leave.
"But if certain areas are unavailable then how will you access them?" Spencer asks curiously as Makoto shoots her a smile.
"I have this" he says pulling a black key with Monokuma's heard carved on the top, "A friend of mine who was also trapped here last time found it, "It's a skeleton key that opens any door" he finishes.
"Well then that settles that, Makoto will search for a way out and anyone who wants to join him feel free" Light says as he makes his way to leave the gym, "I shall be in my room, don't disturb me unless someone is dead" he says leaving.
"I shall take my leave as well" NiCO says following him. Sasuke, Anna, Elsa and Anna-Marie also leave quietly.
"I'm to exhausted, to try and look for a way out tonight so i'm going to bed" Cody says.
"Me too" Sierra adds as they both leave.
"So I guess its just the nine of us" Makoto says smiling.
"Lets just bloody get this over with, I want out of here" Draco comments as they all begin to leave to search for an exit.
[Time Skip]
"Good morning, everyone! It is now 7 a.m. and nighttime is officially over! Time to rise and shine! Get ready to greet another beee-yutiful day!" Monokuma's voice is heard as his face appears on monitors embedded in one of the walls of each dorm room waking everybody up. Cody yawns as he wakes up and stretches.
"Good morning Codykins" Sierra says as Cody turns around startled to see her in his bed.
"Sierra, what are you doing here?" he asks her startled.
"I'm sorry Cody, I just didn't want to sleep alone last night" she replies hugging herself causing Cody to sigh and give her a smile.
"It's okay, I understand" Cody replies as she smiles and gives him a hug, "Sierre...can't...breathe" he says as she realizes she was cutting off his airway.
"Oops, sorry" she says letting go of him as she smiles a sheepish smile.
"It's okay" Cody replies smiling, "Come on let's go to the cafeteria, i'm starving" Cody says as they stand up.
"Okay" Sierra replies as they leave Cody's room and head towards the cafeteria.
"Sierra, how did you get into my room last night?" Cody asks her.
"Um, yeah you probably don't want to know" Sierra replies sheepishly as a faint blush graces her face. Cody just chuckles used to her antics.
"Never-mind then" he says as the reach the cafeteria. As they open the doors they both scream in horror at what they find. There hanging from the ceiling by his own intestines is...Makoto Naegi.
