Death of a Traitor
Over at the Pokémon Center a Mt. Lanakila in the Alola region, a trainer, white skinned with medium and smooth white hair, wearing white horn-rimmed glasses, a dark green star-print polo shirt, black and orange ribbed capris, orange sporty sneakers with black crew socks, and carrying a white sporty backpack was sitting down. That trainer was me. I was thinking to myself about the pain of betrayal I felt from Colress. It happened about 6 years ago. During my adventure in the Unova region, I met Colress, a scientist who wanted to understand the potential of Pokémon. He seemed like a nice guy and even helped clear a couple of paths for me so I could continue my journey. I thought he would be a good ally in the battle against Team Plasma. However, I was wrong once I met him aboard the Plasma Frigate where he revealed his true colors. He revealed himself to be working with Team Plasma all along, and was merely using me just for his research, even if it meant helping Team Plasma destroy Unova. I felt used by him. I felt sadness, but no tears, I felt pain, and felt broken, I felt emotionally fractured, because I was betrayed. Because Colress had betrayed me. During the battle with him, my Pokémon were angry about what he had done to me, and suddenly, Hyperstar, my Flygon, lunged at Colress, grabbed his neck, and began choking him.
"Hyperstar, enough!" I said because I didn't want murder on my Pokémon's hands, but he didn't listen as he continued strangling Colress to death.
"Hyperstar! Let him go!" I ordered one last time.
This time, Hyperstar listened, releasing Colress who began gasping for air. Afraid of what happened, and more importantly, afraid of Hyperstar, Colress got up and ran out as fast as he could. Things turned out a lot worse after Hyperstar used his claws to gore Ghetsis, the leader of Team Plasma, for using Colress to fracture my emotions. Ghetsis was almost killed and Hypster's action shed a permanent blanket of fear over Team Plasma. After finishing the memory, I walked out of the Pokémon Center only to notice Colress staring off into the distance. "TRAITOR!" I yelled at him at the top of my lungs as I pointed at him.
He turned around in surprise.
"You!" he said in a frightened tone.
"It's your fault for hurting me! I won't ever forgive what you've done!" I yelled in anger.
In order to defend himself, Colress tossed an Ultra Ball into the air with A Metagross coming out. I pulled out a Poké Ball and threw it with Jaller, my Charizard, coming out. I then used my key stone to Mega Evolve Jaller into a Mega Charizard Y. Colress used his key stone to Mega Evolve his Metagross into Mega Metagross. Before the Metagross could attack, I ordered Jaller to use Fissure, which defeated the Metagross in a one-hit-KO. As Colress returned the defeated and changed back Metagross to its Ultra Ball, I ran at Colress, swearing to end his life with my own two hands, but then the ground beneath us began shaking and starting to crumble due to Jaller's Fissure attack. Jaller flew up and pulled me back to safety as the ground broke into pieces, making Colress fall down the mountain and to his death. I didn't kill him, but it didn't mean I had to save him either. Good riddance to that backstabbing traitor!
