"Hey, Kurt –"

Blaine stopped at the doorway and beamed. Inside their bedroom, Kurt was lying back against the headboard, head propped up on pillows, fast asleep. He looked peaceful and angelic. Well, until you got below the neck. Under one arm he was holding a mini pillow pet (penguin to be exact). Resting on the other side was Toronto. His small arm was sprawled out over Kurt's chest and his head resting between Kurt's arm and chest. He was sleeping peacefully, his teddy bear disregarded.

Quietly, Blaine crept further into the room. The Wizard of Oz was playing on the TV. He turned it down and shut the curtain to the right of the TV stand. Still smiling, he nearly tiptoed over and pulled the comforter up to Kurt's waist, over Toronto's bare feet and pajamaed legs.

"Papa?" Toronto whispered groggily.

"Hey, buddy," Blaine said quietly.

"Daddy fell asleep during the movie," Toronto said disapprovingly.

Blaine smiled. "Looks like you did too."

"Nu-uh," Toronto said brown eyes wide.

"Well, Daddy has been working a lot lately. We should let him sleep. If you would like to come with me and listen to a bedtime story, we can do that," Blaine suggested.

"Okay," Toronto replied. He carefully moved away from Kurt, trying not to wake him.

Blaine offered his hand to the three-year-old. Toronto took it and grabbed his teddy from the edge of the bed.

Kurt's eyes blinked open at the loss of the warmth beside him. He turned his head to see Blaine and Toronto holding hands, as Blaine led him out of the room. Both of them were on their tiptoes. Toronto raised his finger to his lips. "Papa, be quiet! You're going to wake Daddy."

"Not me!" Blaine said playfully.

"Pick me up so we can go quicker and be quieter."

"Oh, okay. I see how you are." Blaine squatted down and wrapped his arms around the small boy. He picked him up and let him rest on his hip.

A small smiled played on Kurt's lips as he shut his eyes back.
