It's just a stupid joke.
Blaine Anderson, a confident young boy who has the looks at the brains. He's popular and has witty comebacks. Weeks before the dance girls came up to Blaine, asking whether he wanted to go with them. Every time a girl went to Blaine he said no. Soon rumors were spreading around the school about how Blaine might be gay. Even though most people didn't believe the rumors or didn't wanna believe the rumors, Blaine felt uncomfortable around people because he was in fact gay. Blaine has known for months now that he was gay, but he was too afraid to tell anyone. Why was Blaine afraid? There is a boy, his name is Adam.
Adam was the typical high school nerd. He came out of the closet 2 weeks ago and even though he got bullied for being a nerd, he got bullied a lot more after people knew he was gay. Blaine didn't wanted to be bullied. Whenever he saw Adam being bullied, he wanted to help him, but he was too afraid of what people might do or think of him. Instead Blaine walked away thinking to himself that what people did to Adam was just a stupid joke.
Adam hated the bullying, but he was proud of who he was.
Blaine was walking around in his room. He asked 2 of his best friends to come over. He was nervous. He was rethinking everything, should he tell his friends he was gay? Why not? they're his best friends right? everything will be okay. Blaine repeats in his head. Blaine told his friends that night. His friends Jason and Michael said that it was okay and when Blaine asked them to tell no one they said they wouldn't, but they did. When Jason and Michael left Blaine's house they went talking to other people and those people told other people and by the next morning everyone knew.
Blaine was walking around school, not knowing everyone knew. Blaine felt something had changed though, people were whispering as he walked by, others were just staring at him in disbelieve. Blaine walked up to his best friends but before he reached them he was pushed against the lockers and called Blaine faggotson. Blaine looked at his friends sad, he couldn't believe they did this to him. His friends laughed and Blaine ran away, he started to cry. he was repeating in his head that everything was gonna be okay that it was just a stupid joke.
Blaine locked himself up in the janitor's closet, sobbing quietly. He couldn't believe this was happening to him and that his own friends made sure it would happen to him. There was a knock on the door. Blaine wasn't sure if he should answer or not. there was another knock and then a familiar voice. '' Blaine? are you in here? It's Adam, can you open the door please?'' There was a silence. Blaine opened the door eventually and Adam stepped inside looking at Blaine. '' Look I know this must be hard for you..'' Blaine looked at him. '' How can you know? your friends aren't the ones that outed you..''. Adam nodded. '' No they didn't, but I do know how it feels to be bullied. something you probably never had to deal with before. '' Blaine looked away. '' Prejudice is just ignorance Blaine. Together we can stand up to those bullies.'' Adam placed a hand on Blaine's shoulder. Blaine looked at Adam and nodded. Adam smiled lightly and both of them stepped out of the Janitors closet. Blaine saw how many people had gathered in front of the closet door.
'' Hey look! now they really came out of the closet!''
A guy yelled. A few people laughed. '' Who knows what they were doing in the closet!'' A girl said which caused others to shriek and say ew. Blaine looked sad again as more people started to make comments some nastier than others. Adam took his hand and walked away with him which causes people to yell things after them. '' It's gonna be okay Blaine, everything is gonna be okay..'' Adam said walking away with Blaine. '' I know..'' Blaine said quietly, reminding himself that all of it was just a stupid joke.
