Musa was waiting by the lakeside for Riven. The musical fairy had something important to tell the violet haired specialist. A few minuets later, he arrived on his hover bike and gave Musa a hug. They both sat down in front of the lake.

"Riven," Musa began, "there is something I need to tell you."

"You're breaking up with me, aren't you," Riven guessed.

Musa blinked in surprise. "Yes, but how did you know that?"

"I've just had the feeling that we don't work as a couple. I understand if you want to look for someone that is better for you."

Musa then hugged Riven. "Thanks for being so understanding. Actually, I have found someone who I am interested in pursuing. Do you want to know who?" Riven nodded yes, and Musa whispered the name of her latest interest into his ear.

"Wow," Riven said, surprise evident in his voice. "I'm sure the two of you will make a great couple.

Musa had returned to Alfea and was about to enter her dorm. She opened the door and saw the most recent object of her heart's affection sitting on a chair, reading a magazine with all of the pixies around her.

"Hello Layla," Musa said and laid down on a couch across from the dark skinned fairy.

"How did your date with Riven go?" the princess of Tides asked.

"Pretty good. Actually, I broke up with him."

"Why did you do that?"

"Because there is someone else I would rather be with, and it wouldn't have felt right going after this person while still in a relationship with Riven."

"That is very good of you Musa," Tune said as she flied away from Layla and next to her bonded fairy.

"Thanks Tune," Musa said to the pixie of manners. "And thank you Layla for looking after the pixies while the rest of us went out."

"I had nothing better to do tonight," Layla said. "Now tell me about this new person you're interested in."

"I could just tell you, but where would be the fun in that?" Musa said with a devilish grin. "If you want to know, you'll have to guess correctly in a game of 20 questions."

"Fine. Is it that Jarred guy Stella tried to set you up with?"

"No."

"Is it someone who is already in a relationship with someone else?"

"No."

Just then, Layla got a strange idea for a question. "Is it a girl?" She asked.

"Yes."

With that new piece of information Layla had a good idea of who Musa's new interest was. She got out of her chair and looked directly over the musical fairy's head. To each of them, the other's head seemed upside down. "Is it me?" Layla asked.

"Yes," Musa answered. Layla then moved her head downward and began kissing Musa. Musa was overjoyed to finally make contact with those thick, pink lips belonging to the dark skinned fairy.

Their tongues danced inside each others mouths for about 5 minuets before they broke apart. "I'm guessing that you think of me like that too," Musa said.

"Yes," Layla replied. "But you have been so wonderful to me that I didn't want to risk our friendship by bringing it up. When did you start becoming attracted to me?"

"A few weeks ago," Musa answered and stood up. "I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. You are such a great person, Layla: confident, determined and very beautiful."

"I could say the same about you," Layla said and then hugged Musa while letting out a few tears of joy. "I am so happy that you feel the same way about me that I do about you."

"Same here," Musa said and the new couple went into a deep, passionate kiss.
