Piper didn't expect a song when she went down to find Leo. He had been cooped up for days trying to "fix" the engine, after that talk with Asclepius, he was probably trying to escape talking to Jason and her about what that meant. So when she went to drag him out of that room and have a talk she would have never expected to hear Leo singing.

Well I heard there was a secret chord

David played to please the lord

But you don't really care for music, do ya

She was surprised to say the least, her best friend was a great singer and she was just hearing now.

Well it goes like this the fourth the fifth

Minor fall and the major lift

The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah

She knew this song it was 'Hallelujah', sung by Bon Jovi. And when Leo sang it, it had a sad sound to it, like he was trying to find hope in the darkness. And considering his life she wouldn't be surprised, except that he had friends now.

Well your faith was strong but you needed proof

You saw her bathing on the roof

Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you

She tied you to the kitchen chair

She broke your throne and she cut your hair

And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

She heard a creak, and turning around she saw Jason standing behind her, eyes wide hearing his best friend sing.

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Baby I've been here before

I've seen this room and I've walked this floor

I used to live alone before I knew you

And it's not your flag on that marble arch, no

Love is not a victory march

It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah

That's when they realized, that Leo has already lost so many people and has never loved someone in a relationship, and how hard it would be to lose their friend and family, both on the ship and at home.

Well there was a time when you let me know

What's really going on below

But now you never show that to me, do you?

Well remember when I moved in you

And the holy dove was moving too

And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Well now maybe there's a God above

But all I ever learnt from love

Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you

And it's not a cry that you hear at night

It's not someone who's seen the light

It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Now as they snuck away, they realized that, of someone didn't come back at the end of this trip, their whole group would never be the same. So the hoped, just hoped that they would all make it through this.
