Of hearing problems and a violin

Being deaf and told to play a violin, young Prussia believes that it will be impossible for him even with Fritz's help. But when he sees the stable maid with extremely sensitive hearing play the violin he threw out of the castle, he might change his mind. [Very drabble ish, Oc is intended, not historically accurate, don't like don't read.]

Gilbert was walking around the castle thinking. 'Geez, old man fritz knows I'm deaf. So why do I have to play an unawesome instrument?'

He was coming up to the stables next to the gate which means he will have to back in soon and he still hasn't found his violin that he promptly threw out the window. 'unawesome, what will tell him?'

As he approached the stables, he saw the weird Italian that one of the knights had brought back as slave. She was also had hearing sensitivity so she was placed as stable maid. He really never payed her much mind, why he suddenly is looking at her was because she was playing his partly broken violin with ease.

"Hey!" Gilbert yelled with somewhat anger. "That's mine!" She stopped playing and looked very alarmed and fearful.

"My deepest apologies Lord Beilschmidt, I had no idea that this violin was your's!" She bowed and held out the violin and bow for Gilbert take. Gilbert compiled by taking the instrument.

"Yeah, yeah, it's fine. I'm glad it not seriously broken." Gilbert said as he looked over the violin for any damages. He looked up at the girl. "Also, how were you even playing this? I thought you had sensitive hearing."

"I do have sensitive hearing. I just tore off some of the cloth of my blanket and put them in my ears." She stated as she pulled out the cloth in one ear. "As for how I played, I don't know I just closed my eyes and let my hands play while I thought of happy things."

"... really? that's it?"

The girl nodded in confirmation.

Gilbert sighed and decided to give it a try. When he started playing he actually played quite well even if he couldn't hear himself play. When he opened his eyes again the girl told him that he played wonderful. He smiled. 'Maybe playing an instrument is awesome after all.'

As he started heading back into the castle he asked what her name was.

"It is Bella Fiore, Lord Beilschmidt."

He thought of talking to her again soon but she died in attack on the castle a few days later. He made a small grave for her near the stables where he met her.
