A Man in a Mask
This is a very old poem composed by my friend and I back around 2008, so I apologize about the fairly low quality. Being from a time in which I was still in elementary school, expect some pretty contrived rhymes. You can check out my friend's other work here, although he hasn't been active for over three years: james_woodrow
Anyways, enjoy.
He wears a mask,
With a black top hat,
It makes me wonder, who's under that?
I recognize him as he throws a rose,
Landing like a feather by my toes,
He protects me as I fight for love and justice,
Always in the shadows,
Like a member of the Nega-Verse.
His name is Darian,
He is my prince,
We are destined to be together,
To rule the Moon Kingdom,
Together as one,
In dreams from so far away,
Just like his eyes behind the mask
But, as I dream, I see the future
Our love so strong,
We live in out land with everlasting moonlight,
Always there, just out of sight.
My Sailor Scout dreams,
My Man in a Mask, Tuxedo Mask.
Yes, I know, it is bloody awful, so why don't you leave a review expressing your hatred?
