Chapter 1: The Big Day

Fresh out of the shower Lucy headed back to her room to get ready for her one o'clock wedding. This is going to be the best day of my life! Lucy thought. As she got dressed she couldn't help but think about what Kevin was doing. What if he leaves me at the alter? What if... what if he didn't get the tuxes yet? What if he gets a flat tire on his way, and he's late? She could help worrying about him.

"Mom," Lucy shouted, "will you help me button my dress?"

"I'll be there in second," Annie called.

When Annie appeared at the door she gasped,"You look so beautiful! I can't believe my little girl's getting married!"

"Oh, Mom,"Lucy sighed.

10 minutes later Annie fixed Lucy's hair and put on her veil. When Annie was done, Lucy put on her white, bead-encrusted garder. When the limo arrived Annie, Lucy, and Ruthie climbed in and they all started crying, even Ruthie. Annied sobbed,"Luce, if ever need to get away you know where to go."

"Thanks," Lucy said between snifles.

When they arrived at the chuch it was 12:30pm, so they all rushed to the bride's dressing room where the rest of the bridesmaids were anxiously awaiting Lucy's arrival. They all did quick make-up and hair touch-ups. After everybody was ready, they all headed to the main hall until the ceremony started. It was safe to come out since the groom was already in their places, by the alter.
The ceremony finally started and the music came on. Since Eric was the pastor, Matt and Lucy walked down the aisle after her bridesmaids were in their places. When they reached the alter Kevin stepped in and the ceremony continued. When Eric said, ' you may kiss your bride ', Kevin leaned in and tenderly kissed Lucy upon her soft lips. Before their music sounded their farewell, they turned and faced their family and friends, and Eric proudly announced,"I now present to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Kinkirk." The crowd stood up and applauded as they proceeded down the aisle. When they went outside the limo was awaiting their arrival and they carefully climbed in and sped off.
