A/n: here is the prologue. I have started chapter one, but it is two a.m. and I'm really tired, don't feel good, and want to go to bed now. I'm sorry it took me so long to re-write this. I like the prologue and am liking how I'm handling the first chapter this time around. Third time's the charm I suppose. Enjoy. *bows*

Dream to New Heights
Prologue: Yume...(dream)
Loup gazed at his reincarnation as the boy slept. It was the dead of night, and Loup tended not to sleep much. So, he stayed awake gazing at a face so like his own. Soft moon light called to shadows playing upon Syaoran's face. He breathed in and out steadily, softly.
Loup smiled as he watched Syaoran sleep. The poor guy had been through so much pain. Especially losing his entire family last year. At least, their lives had been relativily normal lately. Nothing to worry about, no world to save, no nasty surprises from the past sneaking up on them at all. Things were as they should be. Syaoran and Sakura were together as they should be. And Loup...
Loup sighed, and transported himself to the roof of Syaoran's apartment. He gazed at the full moon, feeling the power radiating from it. Loup sensed something else besides the power moonlight gave, something was going to happen. Something was going to shatter the perfect dream that his aibou, Sakura, and himself had worked so hard to acheive. Something always happened to shatter the dream.
"Mais...et ensuite?" Loup murmured, not bothering to use Japanese seeing as he was by himself. This thing he sensed was far from here though, and that calmed him to some degree.
He continued to gaze out across the moonlight city. Everything was illumined as if a dream. But Loup knew that soon the dream would shatter, and when it did something more horrible than ever before would come of it.

A/n: I know it's short...but like I said...it's late while I'm writing this, and I'm tired. But I will tell you all (Jared, PCB, FD I E-mailed this info to you) that there is a new CLAMP manga (Tsubasa-Chronicle Resevoir) featuring the CCS charecters. It is a different story, more aimed at the shounen audience(it is in Shounen Magazine) and SYAORAN GETS TO BE THE MAIN CHARECTER!!!!! He's really hot too...and older. *drool* The style does look Chobits-y tho. I have scans from the first chapter (not all 61 pages, but about 14 something like that) with French translations, and I have read up to page 14 trans. in English. It looks oh so good....
