Ami-Chan: This is just a one-shot idea that wouldn't leave me alone. Please enjoy and review.

The Thursday evening was cold and rainy. The small apartment was quiet and mostly empty. Risa picked up a fashion magazine and began to study its contents. She had run completely out of ideas and her designs were due on Saturday.
Her new-years resolution to stop procrastinating hadn't been attempted and it was already mid April. You'd think that within four months of the new year, she'd have at least tried.
She tossed the magazine onto the coffee table with frustration. She couldn't focus. Her stress level was extremely high and nothing she did seemed to help. If it had been a year ago, she would simply mention the stress to her fiancé, Atsushi, and he would smile and give her shoulders a massage.
Risa decided that it wouldn't hurt to try and coax her now-husband into giving her some attention. She walked down the small hallway to their bedroom and peeked in at the grumpy looking man hunched over his desk, furiously grading his middle school students' math tests.
"Hey…" Risa said quietly, placing her hands on his shoulders.
"Not now. I'm busy." came his husky reply.
"Don't talk to me like that!" she shouted, sitting on the bed.
"I told you not to bug me when I'm working!" he yelled, turning to face her.
"We never talk anymore…I wish we could just have a simple conversation."
Atsushi's expression softened and he shifted uncomfortably in his chair. "Risa…sorry, I've just been busy."
"I know. Why did things get so complicated? I mean, even when we were busy before…we still found time for each other." she asked, flopping backwards into the pillows.
"We were younger, we didn't rely on coffee for energy and we were probably just content with the little things, like dating or making out." he answered, somewhat smiling.
"I miss those days, but we're only twenty-four now. Its not like we're middle-aged or anything."
They both burst out laughing. "You know what? You're absolutely right!" he agreed.
Risa looked at her wedding ring and sighed. "Maybe marriage has changed us…" she whispered, closing her eyes.
"No way. Us getting married had nothing to do with it."
"Yeah, I know. Well, sorry for bugging you. I'll let you get back to those tests."
"Okay, thanks."
As Risa was on her way to the door the lights turned off. "A blackout?"
Atsushi looked around the dark room. "Do we have a flashlight or candles somewhere?"
"Yeah! In the kitchen drawer, we have some candles." she replied, and left to retrieve them. She re-entered the room holding two red candles. "Here, do you have a lighter?"
"Yeah. Hold on a minute." Atsushi said, digging around in his desk drawer.
Risa lit the candles and sat down on the bed again. The two candles only illuminated one corner of the large room. "Aren't these the candles from our honeymoon?" he asked, turning to her.
"Wow your right! So that's where we put them." she replied.
"I thought they were used up already."
Risa gave him a sly look. "Our honeymoon didn't last very long…well, the lovemaking part of it anyway…"
Atsushi glared at her. "Are you calling me fast?" he asked, playfully.
"Gee, I don't know…its been so long that I've forgotten." she giggled.
"Shall I remind you then?"
Risa thought for a moment. "Sorry, but small guys like you just don't do it for me anymore." she teased.
Atsushi laughed. "As if Risa, what exactly are you referring to as "small" my height or my-"
She cut him off with a kiss and broke away. Atsushi grinned at her and sat on the edge of the bed. "Come on Risa show me what you've got."
Risa smiled and pounced on him. The rest is a different story.
