"Don't go Bella. Don't Die."
I looked into Jacob's honest, loving eyes and I knew I couldn't leave. I loved him more than I could ever have loved Edward, and I knew he felt the same.
"I'll stay…I love you Jacob." I felt the tears start as soon as I said those words, and he hugged me closer.
"I love you so much Bella, I will never hurt you like that bloodsucker."
I sobbed into his shoulder until I heard Alice come behind me.
"Are you coming, Bella? We have to leave-"
I cut her off. "I can't come, Alice. I love Jacob, I could never leave him."
I saw her look of disgust before she managed to hide it. She left before I could explain or even apologize. Jake rubbed my back while I cried softly into his shoulder.
"It's alright Bella. I'm here. I love-"
I looked up, curious about why he stopped, and I saw him staring into my eyes with an expression I couldn't read. It was like someone had seen the sun for the first time.
"Jake? Jake are you okay?"
He blinked, shook his head, and stared at me with an adoration I couldn't measure.
"I imprinted…on you."
I hugged him, joy overwhelming me.
"I love you so much."
