A Man Of Remnant
It was surreal moment when I met him, to this day I'm still not sure if it really happened but my memories from that day however brief they may be I will always treasure them.
Lost in the uncharted landscape northwest of the continent Vytal wanders a young man who's mission is to reach Vacuo. With only a machete for protection the young man headed South through a Grimm infested forest and has been lost for a month.
"Man this sucks!" yelled the teen as he struggled walking through vines that tangled him with every step. With the sounds of Grimm ever present the boy panicked and swung his machete to free himself but at the cost of falling down towards rocks. He awaken to a man standing before him wearing a white suit with his hand extended towards the teen in good faith.
"What's your name?" asked the man as he picked the teen up from the rocks.
"I don't have one." replied the teen as he dusted dirt off himself.
"I see let's go Nameless." said the man in the white suit as he headed south.
"Where are we going?" asked Nameless as followed him
"Just keep going" replied the man in white
They traveled far as the man in white smiled throughout the scenic yet harsh landscape as the duo left the forest behind and entered the moorlands continuing south. The sky was multi-colored in orange, pink, yellow, and red as a strong gale was roaring northward, making Nameless struggle as he walked causing the man in white to signal him to keep moving as animals and grimm were going about their day living in harmony as some grimm took notice of the duo approached a solitary tree.
"See that? That's where I'm going." said the man in white as he pointed at a ray of light that shined at the end of cliff in the distance. He signaled Nameless to keep on moving as they entered a field which was inhabited by herd of Goliath who stared at Nameless intensely.
"Don't be scared just keep on going." said the man in white as he patted a Goliath on its trunk. The duo walked past the field and reached the cliff until the man in white stopped and smiled at the teen.
"This is as far as we go." smiled the man in white.
"Wait! Hold on why'd you have me follow you then?" replied Nameless
"Your next destination is over there in that port town. That'll lead you towards Vacuo." said the man in white
"But how did you know? Why did you lead me here? And just who are you?" asked Nameless
"I just knew." replied the man in white
"So what do I do now?" asked Nameless at a loss
The man in white smiled and began heading towards the light, he then turned around facing Nameless.
"Do exactly what you've been doing." said the man in white as he entered the ray of light disappearing from the world of Remnant.
Nameless stood staring at the sky, remembering everything about his encounter with the man in white, and then chuckled to himself.
"I get it."

I discovered RWBY not too long ago and I am saddened at the news that Monty died, but I'll follow his words forever. RIP Monty Oum (1981-2015) Gone but never forgotten. Peace
