Location: Remnant, Beacon academy date unknown, Earth date February 1, 2115
I awoke to the sound of Ruby, Weiss, Yang and Blake crying. My eyes display the date, February 1 2115. I speak in a whisper, "100 years" the girls continue to cry and I play across the speaker system I installed after the first year at beacon. This will be the day (Acoustic version). "100 years ago on Earth the creator of the RWBY universe passed away at 33." I look out the window at the shattered moon, 'for Earth it was the passing of a creative genius, taken at a young age, for the world of Remnant, it is known as the day of moon break, the death of a god'. "Before the time of the Kingdoms, the moon was whole but then one day the moon was shattered and it rained in a downpour for ten days, as if the world was mourning the passing of a god." Off in the distance, the sound of the Grimm sound, the howls of Beowolves can be heard as even the monsters of the world recognize the day of sadness. I look at my teammates, Yang is hugging Ruby and Weiss while Blake is just staring into the moon. I walk over to her and place my organic arm around her and she spins around to cry into my chest. Despite the immense sadness I am unable to cry as the attack that gave me my cybernetic eyes irreparably damaged my tear ducts. I stroke the crying Faunus' hair offering her my comfort. 'Rest in peace Monty Oum'.
