Prologue
In the darkness of the night she walked trying not to trip over roots and fallen trees. She kept on telling herself that all she has to do is make it to Forks and then everything with be better. She knows that she can't be caught so she has to hide in the tree line next to the road, not that she could see the road. For all see knew she could have been going further into the forest but she didn't care all she needed to do was to get out of the reservation.
Get away from that person; get away from her family and friends. Leaving them without a word isn't the best ways to go but she couldn't watch them, watching her leave. She just couldn't deal with the pain she already was going through, she didn't want to add to it.
A tear rolled out of her eye. She been holding back tears all day but now that she was alone she couldn't help but one tear fall after another.
She kept telling herself that this was the best this to do. That she had to do this, for her own sake and for his.
That's when she stopped and fell onto the moist ground in a heap with her one bag that she brought with her, her tears falling faster. Was she doing the right thing? Was running away the right answer? Or was she doing this because in the end it will make her feel better?
She didn't know.
She didn't know what she was doing, where she was going. She didn't even know why she was doing it. She was cold, confused and most of tired. Tired of everything in her life. She was tired of the pain, she was tired of him and what he has out her through and tired of pretending to be somebody else.
"Amy?" A deep but familiar voice behind her made her jump to her feet and turn around. Wiping the tears away with the back of her hands, she saw a large figure move towards her.
She knew who it was, not just by the familiar voice of the man but from the height and muscular figure of the man, there was nobody else on the reservation like him.
"Sam" She said in all but a whisper.
"What are you doing out here?" He asked, worry in his voice more than anything else.
Amy let a tear roll down her face before she spoke again.
"Leaving" And with that the tears fell down her face like a waterfall finally showing someone what she had be hiding away from everyone for over two months.
