This is my first song-fic EVER in my life. I hope you guys like it. The song is called Trip by Hedley (one of my fav bands).

Brambleclaw could feel sweat running down his fur as he awoke. The moss underneath him was ruffled up and messy and he realized he had been moving in his sleep. He grimaced. Moving from the Dark Forest. He sighed, dropping his head and rising onto his paws. Tiredness hit him and he groaned. He felt as if he had just battled a hundred cats. No, just two cats. A pang of regret churned in his stomach and he gritted his teeth. He knew it wasn't right to be taking lessons from Tigerstar and Hawkfrost, but he couldn't help it. He swept his gaze over to Squirrelflight and twitched his ears in annoyance when he saw Ashfur beside her. The two cats sat so close to each other that they were touching. They're tails were entwined. Brambleclaw let out a heavy breath. He missed Squirrelflight so much it hurt and the only reason why she despised him was because he was being so close to Hawkfrost and he knew that she would hate him even more when she found out about his dreams.

Some say love is not for sinners,

I believe that isn't true

'Cause when I was finished sinning

Love came down and showed me you

Brambleclaw pushed his thoughts away. He stretched his sore muscles and flexed his shoulders then padded out of the warriors' den. He walked past Ashfur and Squirrelflight. Brambleclaw turned his amber gaze to Squirrelflight and rested them on her. She was so beautiful. Her dark ginger fur gleamed in the light and green eyes sparkling. She shot him a glare and he looked away, ducking his head and embarrassment flooding over him.

And you told me how to get there
So I tried to find a way
Then I ran into your garden
But I tripped out the gate
I tripped out the gate

He felt even worse and pained when he went on a patrol with Squirrelflight and Ashfur. The two cats seemed as if they could not be separated, even when Brambleclaw decided they should split up to hunt. Ashfur protested. He said he thought hunting together would be better and that no matter what he wouldn't go without Squirrelflight. Brambleclaw thought he saw a flash of annoyance in Squirrelflight's eyes but he knew that she would rather be annoyed to death then hunting alone with Brambleclaw. He felt like sobbing, like breaking down. He loved Squirrelflight and she hated him. In fact, it burned so much, he could hardly concentrate.

What are you doing to me?

I'm so into you

And the hardest part is knowing that I'll never follow through,

You're slowly killing me

And I wish it wasn't true

"Squirrelflight," he asked one time when Ashfur was not there on a different patrol. They were in camp. "Do you want to go hunting with me? The fresh-kill pile is empty."

Squirrelflight looked as if she was about to say yes when she shook her head suddenly. She laid her ears back and bared her teeth. Her beautiful green eyes narrowed into a menacing glare. "No," she said. "I'm going hunting with Ashfur later." She turned and stalked away.

Brambleclaw broke down now. He fell and landed on the hard ground. He buried his head between his paws and let out a soft moan. The pain was so unbearable. It burned so much. It hurt even more when he saw Squirrelflight greet Ashfur and the two of them bounded off. Maybe just once to be with her would make the pain go away.

'Cause I'm so into you.
