The powerful door to a cell reluctantly opened. With it came an also very reluctant Shizune. She mumbled a quick, "Follow me" to the occupant before heading quickly back out the door.
A slow smile spread across the prisoner's face. "Free. I'm free."

Naruto was having a bad day. He wanted to go out to search for Sasuke again, but NOOO. Tsunade just had to keep him here. That old-
His thoughts were interrupted as Shizune, Tsunade's assistant entered. "Tsunade-sama! Someone wants to see you!" and then with a quick glance at Naruto and a lowered voice, "It's her."
"Her?" The Hokage looked worried.
"Her."
"Here?"
"Here."
"Now?"
"Now-"
"Oh shut up, you parrot, and bring her in!" Tsunade roared her assistant getting on her nerves.
Naruto watched this all go on, wondering how he could get Tsunade to slip a yes to the Sasuke retrieval. As his plan slowly developed, he noticed a tall figure with long, dark blue hair appear in the doorway.
When the shadow came into view, Naruto saw it was a female ninja with an eye patch over her right eye. Her left eye was a piercing gold. She was at the age of about 16, probably. And she was staring at him. Not the normal stare of curiosity that he often got because of his hideous orange outfit. No. This was a dead, cold stare.
Then, to his extreme surprise, that face of hers broke into a large smile and she gave a cheerful hello to him. Naruto hardly believe the transition she'd just made in a few seconds. Weird.
Tsunade glared at her. She noticed the eyes upon her and turned to the Hokage. "Oh my gosh! I'm SO sorry!" Tsunade nodded approvingly. You should be. After all you did-"
"After all," the girl continued, "It's awfully rude not to say hello to the Hokage herself! So… hello!"
Tsunade stared in disbelief. "Is that really all you've got to apologize for? Nothing like, destroying lots of peoples' lives or anything of that sort?"
The teen though it over for a bit. "Nope. I think not."
The woman sighed at her guest. "It's hopeless, I knew it!"
"No it's not, Tsunade-sama! Just remember the plan!" Shizune butted in.
"Ah yes. That. I guess it'll have to do, since technically you've done your sentence."
"So I'm free!?" The girl gasped of happiness.
"…Yes…"
"YAY! Hey, who're you?" she turned toward a now rather confused Naruto. "Ah, no matter. Is the old ramen joint still around? Let's go, go GO!"
Her craziness was contagious, and Naruto found himself taking her out to ramen and laughing his head off for half the night. The girl was named Tori, and apparently she had just gotten out of prison for playing too many pranks. Naruto was shocked by this. "You can be put into prison for pulling pranks!?" he gasped, thinking over all the stunts he had pulled over his lifetime.
She gave a throaty laugh. "Mine were a bit more extreme than your average pranks."
She changed the subject quickly. "You know Naruto, I think we're gonna be good friends!" She smiled a sincere smile. Either that, or she was way too good at acting.
