Late one night, Spidey and White Tiger were patrolling the city together. They were in the middle of a heated debate about something that was really not worth debating.
"Really, Tiger, I think that red costumes are better than white ones. The white ones are so plain and lacking kazazz!"
"I, myself, think that white ones stand out because at night white is bright. And they are-"
"See! Proves my point. White ones stand out at night! You don't want to be seen at night while you're on patrol!" White Tiger had no comeback for that statement, so she just kept her mouth shut as they travelled through the night.
Finally, the silence was broken by Spiderman. "Ava, have you ever had a wish? Like a wish that you wanted to come true so badly that you felt as if you would burst right on the spot?" They stopped running (or swinging, whoever you're referring to) and looked at one another.
"I had a wish once. Long ago, of course. I wanted a- no I won't say it."
"Come on, Tiger. Don't leave me hanging. Please tell me! Please! Don't make me do the spidey eyes on you!" Spiderman begged. He could tell she wasn't an easy nut to crack so he used the "spidey eyes."
"Webhead, if you keep using the spidey eyes on me I'm gonna claw them out!" She threatened. However, he does look kinda cute when he does that. Her eyes widened behind her mask. She didn't think of the idiot that way, did she? She couldn't possibly lo- no she can't allow herself to think that way. But just the thought made her cheeks glow a red that could put Thor's cape to shame. Let's put it this way. She was glad she had a mask on.
"Hello? White Tiger? Ava? You in there?" Spiderman was knocking on her head like it was a door. She came back from her reverie immediately and the feel of his hand on her head sent chills down her spine even though it was a fist.
"I'm sorry, what did you say? I wasn't listening."
"I said that my dream was me and you getting together." She was flabbergasted. She couldn't believe that he wanted a girl like her. But hey, he knew who she was and what she was capable of so what the heck? She pulled her mask off, ripped his off, and kissed him. Now it was his turn to be flabbergasted. She was kissing him. HIM! Of all people it was him! He was in eternal bliss.
"So did I grant your wish, Mr. Parker?" she asked after she pulled away. All he could do was stutter and splutter. She smirked and said, "See you back at the house, Idiot."
The End
