''I already conquered the Null Void. You are unable to defeat me,'' D'Void said while he grinned at Manny and Helen.
Manny scowled and held three torches. He saw four Null Guardians by D'Void. He was aware of D'Void's love for animals.
*D'Void's Null Guardians will suffer if they try to attack me* Manny thought as he glanced at the torches.
A Null Guardian attacked Manny before the latter used a torch to force it back. It chased Manny and Helen into D'Void's citadel.
D'Void's eyes widened after he remembered Manny's torches. *Other Null Guardians are in the citadel* he thought. He ran into his home before he searched for Null Guardians.
D'Void saw fire in a chamber and gasped. *Hopefully a Null Guardian survived* he thought after he shook his head in disbelief.
After running into the chamber, he frowned. *At least there aren't any Null Guardians in the chamber.* D'Void got out of the area.
He ceased running as soon as a Null Guardian flew by him and pursued Helen with Manny.
Manny stretched one of his arms before a torch's fire contacted a doorway and burned it.
D'Void proceeded to frown another time. *That explains fire in one of my chambers.* He turned his head. He gasped after a Null Guardian flew out of a burning room.
The Null Guardian sobbed as it went by D'Void.
Concern filled D'Void's eyes as he followed the creature. He eventually found himself out of his citadel. His frown returned the minute he saw Manny with Helen.
The wounded Null Guardian collapsed near D'Void before the worried latter ran to it.
D'Void saw many burns on the Null Guardian's body. Tears appeared in his eyes as he crouched near it. *Remain alive* he thought.
The Null Guardian writhed and continued to sob.
*My pet won't suffer after it dies* D'Void pondered after tears streamed down his face. He began to sob.
Manny saw D'Void's tears and smiled. *D'Void's Null Guardians will suffer if they try to attack me.*
